(Y/N) Graythorne stood watching his Collider, the engineers he had hired working hard to work out the kinks before the final running of the machine.
So what if Fisk wanted to bring back his family? (Y/N) would let him do so as long as it got him closer to his goal.
The spreading of Graythorne Inc. on a Multiversal level.
The thought almost made him... happy.
He looked back at his henchmen, the ones who had failed to do his bidding. Well, Fisk's bidding, to be precise.
But he was nothing if not magnanimous, so he would give them all more one chance.
"Didn't expect you to get defeated so easily." (Y/N) chuckled seeing Scorpion's arm slowly regenerating.
"The sire's sin bore fruit, his own image, haunting him in the very end." Scorpion's words were a maze as usual, (Y/N) had long given up on trying to decipher the alien's riddles.
"I didn't know you were contacted, Amora, We'll talk later regarding your payment. It'll be long and fulfilling as usual." (Y/N) yawned, a human gesture, something which he didn't usually do, but then again, he didn't usually map out a multistep process of taking over the multiverse. "For now, we turn to more important matters."
"Oh honey~ I know my payment is not in danger. If anything, It is your machine that is. The Spiders are coming for you." Amora pointed at the Collider and then at (Y/N). "Especially you."
"He won't be a nuisance, I'll personally make sure of that." (Y/N)'s smile dropped at the mention of his own name, he knew the other (Y/N) was different from him... but why? (Y/N) thought he of all people understood the value of taking everything for yourself. "I'll teach him some lessons before I break him."

"He's not ready!" Peter and (Y/N) were having a heated conversation outside of May's home, The others trying to calm the two.
"We have to trust him, Peter." (Y/N) argued for Miles, a stark 180 from his earlier stance.
"I have to agree with Peter on this one." Peni added and Gwanda nodded.
"Look, bub, We all like the kid, but we have to look at the bigger picture." Noir, being the oldest of the group, took it upon himself to mediate the situation.
"So what? We just condemn one of us to death?" Gwen said the words out loud, it was something that needed to be said.
"I'll do it." Peter confidently came forward.
"What? No. That's not happening." (Y/N) immediately shut him down, "If anyone will do it, it'll be me."
"I'll join you too." Gwen's eyes were filled with determination as she spoke. (Y/N) tried to tell her to stop that train of thought, but she interrupted him with a glare. "I'm never leaving your side again."
They both stared at each other, words left in the air.
"Don't be idiots, both of you have a future together. I have nothing to return to." Peter smiled, a coping mechanism he had learned a long time ago.
"We can't ju-" (Y/N) started, but it was Noir who cut him off.
"Let him do it. It is his choice at the end of the day." Noir started, "A man must not be driven away from his purpose."
The Spiders stayed silent. Them not being able to find the words for this heavy choice.
"That's what I'm trying to get you all to understand..." (Y/N) muttered under his breath as the Spiders started to move towards where Miles was likely to head. His dorm room.
