You had been getting used to your new body and you could now comfortably move it like you wanted to, hell you could probably even swim as fast as leopard seals could go if given the chance albeit you wouldn't be in control for most of that time if you did go full speed... You didn't have enough space to try that inside this cave... It was a big cave sure but not enough for you to race around willy nilly. Sans had tried to touch you multiple times but every time you propelled yourself out of his reach, you weren't comfortable enough to let him, especially during a mating season. You were definitely not ready for that and you would never be, children weren't something you wanted right now and even if it was just for pleasure... you didn't know how this body even worked in that regard! You hadn't given up on escaping but you wanted to wait for the opportune time, like now.

You were alone, near the cave exit and you knew Papyrus was deep enough inside the cave so he couldn't stop you from swimming outside. A major oversight or a test to see if you would willingly wander outside? You weren't sure but should you risk it? If it was an oversight then you could swim swiftly towards the surface and shuffle up to the icy ground where Sans and Papyrus couldn't get to you easily... guess being a leopard seal did have its merits such as being able to surface up from the water and shuffle onto land without much trouble. You would definitely be faster than any of them on land. But if it was a test? Yeah they would keep an even better eye on you if you were to try an escape. You gazed at the exit, you could see the beautiful blue waterscape, open and barren. You didn't know where Sans was so you decided not to take the chance, it wasn't worth risking it and it might gain more trust overall... you need to be patient and not rush it. You swam away from the exit, hiding your scheming thoughts behind a neutral expression.

"Aren't cha comin' outside? It's nice and safe" You turned around to see Sans with a grin on his skull, you knew it! It was a test! You had to hide your gleeful emotion lest he takes it as misunderstanding that you were starting to like him again. When you didn't say anything, Sans tilted his head... which was cu- no! No it wasn't, it was annoying. "It's safe to go out now, seasons over and all... well maybe for the other Sirens but I still get all riled up looking at you" Was that an attempt to flirt with you? It certainly was and it was a bad one. "Which means the dangerous one is you?" Sans clearly blanked at that, his jaw opening and closing again. "NONSENSE! MY BROTHER IS PERFECTLY SAFE! ARE YOU NOT SANS?" Uh huh very safe, the creature that drowned you but you held your tongue, it would go nowhere if you tried to argue once again. "Hehe sure am... just teasin' you is all, though it's very true" Sans mumbled the last part with a grin but you heard it perfectly fine from where you were.

"ANYWAY, WHY NOT GO OUTSIDE? I AM SURE YOU HAVE BEEN REARING TO FINALLY GO... BUT SANS WILL ACCOMPANY YOU" Of course he would... Wait, why couldn't Papyrus go with you instead? It didn't have to be Sans. "Why don't you go with me Papyrus?" At that he immediately shook his head and promptly pushed you towards Sans. "NO CAN DO! I HAVE STUFF TO DO INSIDE THE CAVE YOU SEE!" You had to stop yourself when Papyrus gave you the final push so you didn't go flying into Sans's ribcage... he probably would have loved that but too bad, you managed to stop yourself a few inches from him, not quite touching, not too far either. "What kind of stuff?" You turned to squint at him and you could clearly see he was lying, if you weren't underwater you would have seen sweat drops on his skull. "OH YOU KNOW! GREAT STUFF! SWIM ALONG NOW, SHOO SHOOO!" Papyrus said as he waved his hand at you. Did he just kick you out of the cave just so Sans could have a stroll with you? Well as close to a stroll you could get under the ocean.

"Heh, let's go Snowball" You heard Sans from behind you and he suddenly forcefully turned you back around to face him. With swift and quick movement, he puts his arms around you, dragging you close to his ribcage as he locks you in an embrace. You were about to ask what the fuck he's doing but before you could, he swam away with you in his hold. You saw Papyrus's small but very wry smile as you got further away... that scheming bastard!
