3rd Person
It had to happen tonight. Sariha's change that it. She would need as much recovery time as possible. So, it had to happen tonight.
With no more than 3 hours or so to prepare, Bethany sped through the castle as fast as she possibly could. She had to request a soundproof and possibly an escape-proof room for tonight. These kinds of rooms were built for such an intent. To turn others. It isn't terribly rare that vampires convince others to join. So, for such an occasion, there needed to be a designated place.
Most of these rooms were barren, with little to no furniture, concrete floors and walls, and drains in case there was much blood loss. The doors were incredibly heavy and were locked and guarded once the process began. New vampires, considered fledglings, can be extremely dangerous. They are not used to their new powers or their new hunger. Some of them are slightly irate when the process is finished, while others may go on a full-force rampage. So, there is much concern for safety in this situation. Bethany didn't want the barren room, most likely covered in filth and dried blood. Sariha needed to be as comfortable as possible to make it through this experience.
There was one room that was fully furnished that offered the same safety implements as the other rooms. It was meant for vampires who were turning their blood bond, or even their family members or friends. Not every vampire was sadistic enough to put their loved one through a horrible turning process.
This room had a large California king bed, with silk sheets and feather pillows. There were other vehicles of comfort around the room. A couple leather couches, and even an incredibly large dog bed/bean bag thing. If the couple wasn't so nervous and worried, that thing would've seemed amazing.
Bethany also had to retrieve a couple of things. And by things, she means her toys. And, of course, toys meaning sex toys. A strap-on, a wand, various sizes of dildos and vibrators, and a colossal amount of lube. You see, the best way to get someone through this process as easy and painless as possible is by distraction. The best distraction, of course, is pleasure. Bethany is quite adamant on making this not the worst experience of Sariha's life.
Michael sat with Sariha as they waited for Bethany to finish preparations. They were both scared. Sariha could die during the process. Although it was a small possibility, it was still there. Other than dying, Sariha thought of Michael's reaction to her when she'll become a vampire. The boy had just come back from Nicco lying about being a vampire. Then the fight after the council meeting. And everything else with the Ignacio family. What if he starts resenting her? Hating her for what she'll become?
"You'll still be my friend after this, right?" She asked, her gaze still focused on the floor. He sat next to her, close enough to where she could hear the breath that got caught in his throat.
"Sariha, believe me when I say that nothing can change our relationship. Even if you turned into a freaking dinosaur. You're my best friend, pretty much family by now." Michael admitted to her. He needed to take a deep breath to continue. "I regret how I treated Nicco. So much that it's killing me. I love you Sariha, and I refuse to treat you or anyone else that I love like that again." He promised.
"Aw, Michael. I love you too. Thank you." She enveloped him in a hug, nearly strangling him with it. Unintentionally, of course. The strength of the hug was to show how much she loved him.

"Are you ready, mi amor?" Bethany looked to her blood bond. She could feel and hear the pace of her beating heart. It pumped hard, drumming itself raw, causing a visible pulse where her neck met with her collarbone.
"Ready? I...phew, I can't wait." She breathed out, conjuring a weak smile. Bethany encompassed her in a hug, whispering reassurances in her ear.
"It's okay if you change your mind."
