"Mrs. Arohi Abhishek Mehra YOU ARE LEAVING THAT JOB! AM I CLEAR" he said his tone rough and dangerous.
Arohi started at him and did something he never expected..
Arohi picked the jar of water and thew, just the way Abhishek did, it fuming in anger. Abhishek stared at her. Her this move was totally unexpected.
She looked at him and said "I also know how to get angry and shout and trust me I know better than you" she glared him and continued "And what were you saying, leave the job? Huh leaving a job might be a joke for you, but for me it is my source of money. If you think that I will leave it then you are wrong Mr. Mehra. If you make me leave this job then I will join another"
Abhishek was flabbergasted will be an understatement. He never in his dream thought that his fragile looking wife can behave like this. Like a fucking tigress. He kept looking at her in bewilderment.
"Stop staring like a creep" she shouted.
He came out of his trance hearing her voice, which was irritated + angry. He ran a hand through his hairs and looked away. "I.. I was not staring you" he cleared his throat and continued "And I don't like this kind of behavior Mrs. Mehra" he said pointing towards the broken jar pieces. To which Arohi just rolled her eyes.
Abhishek took a deep breath to calm, his little wife was getting high on his nerves now. He then said softly "See I am telling you nicely for the last time, leave that job. I have no issue with you working, but I have problem with your choice of work.." he was cut off by Arohi saying "This is wrong. No work is less"
He yelled in an irritated voice "Listen to me first" he sighed and then added "I know no work is less but you are Mrs. Abhishek Mehra. Willingly or not, you carry my name. Leave about media, what if our families get to know about it? What will they think huh?"
"My family knows that I work in a cafe" she said folding her arms.
"You were unmarried back then, and now you are married to a billionaire" he said in an uninterested tone.
Arohi opened and closed her mouth because she had nothing to say, but she was not going to admit it. She understood his point and concern. But how can she leave her job, her only source of income? Leaving the job means she will have to ask him for money, which was totally against her self-respect.
He shook his head and took out his card from his wallet and handed it to her "You want money? You can take as much as you want from this. It has no limit. Just leave this job please"
"I don't want your money and about the job..." she paused and took a deep breath "I will leave it"
Abhishek sighed "Finally" he thought.
Without saying anything Arohi took her stuff and went to her room. Regretting her decision. Feeling like a looser. She took a cold shower to calm her anger and mind. After shower she decided to complete her assignments.
Arohi didn't come out of her room, neither she took any efforts to check on dinner for her good-for-nothing husband. She was still angry on him for his behavior. She was doing the thing she is best in - OVERTHINK. She didn't realize when she dozed off on the table itself.
Abhishek on the other hand cleaned the mess he and his wife made out of anger. He regretted the decision of sending the butlers early. Obviously he didn't want them to see them fighting. He even sent Mrs. Annie home saying that they will be going out for dinner, so she didn't make any dinner as well.
"Perfect there is no dinner and if I tell Arohi to prepare anything then she will kick me off the balcony. PERFECT" Abhishek thought.
Abhishek didn't know how to cook so he ordered pizza for both of them. Till the pizza arrived he watched T.V. with some beer.
