Abhishek's POV:

"Good morning sir" everyone wished me as I entered the office.

There were some issues in our London branch, that made my stay here a little lengthy. Or I might have made up some issues so that I can stay here. *sheepish smile*

Phew biwi bacho ke liye kya kya karna padta hai 😮‍💨

The days are going quite well. I just want to stay home with my kids and my wife. They just make everyday worth living.

In these 4 years I was just living like a robot. Working. Eating. Sleeping. Working. Repeat.

But ever since they entered my life, I just want to live every moment with them. The mother-kids trio is my solace, my peace, my happiness, my everything.

After spending a whole week at home, Arohi kicked me out her apartment and told me to go to the office. She herself went somewhere with her portfolio. The kids are at the day care and I just can't wait for the day to end and get them out of there.

"Sir you have a meeting with Mr. Lockwood in 5 minutes" my secretary Mihika said.

I nodded and moved to the meeting room. Everyone was already settled there. I shook hands with Lockwood and we started with the meeting.

"Mr. Mehra I appreciate your work but I would like to discuss it with my team. I will let you know our decision" he said after 2 hours of meeting.

He left and I moved to my cabin, where piles of files were waiting for me already. Sighing I started with the work.

Just a few days ago, I loved the piles of pending work but now look at me, sulking looking at the same. Can't I just go back home?

My phone went off with a video call from my best friend? What on hell happened. I am sure he must have fought with Ritika again.

"What happened?" I asked.

" Hello to you too my friend" he said sarcastically.

"What did you want Varun?" I glared him.

"Well I have a question" I raised a brow "Where in hell are you Abhi" he asked with a smile

"In London of course" duhhhhh.

"Oh yeah then where are you living? I don't remember you buying another property here"

"I.,. I.. why are you asking huh" what I am thinking can't be true right?

"Because I am sitting in your living room, drinking whiskey from your collection and your maid informed me you haven't stepped here in a week. Wanna answer this" he said with a serious expression.

I sighed "When did you reach here?"

"An hour ago. You were busy with a meeting" I rubbed my face.

"I am coming just stay there" he hummed and hung up the call.

Oh god whyyyyyyy? I don't think Arohi is ready to face any of the family members. And Varun coming hers is like making things worse.

What is she refuses to go back home after meeting Varun?

With many more questions in mind I drive to my penthouse. As I enter inside I see Varun all sprawled over my couch watching some stupid movie while gulping down my whiskey.
