Author's POV:

The car stopped in front of a park. He driver opened the door for Arohi and she got down.

She looked around in search of Abhishek but he wasn't there. She moved further into the park looking around.

Suddenly she heard someone shouting. She went into the direction of the voices to see two people standimg facing each other.

The man was shouting at the other man. Suddenly the man held the other man's collar and started punching other man's face.

Arohi was shocked to see this. She ran to save the man from he other one's wrath.

"Leave him you idiot, he will die" she shouted trying to save the man.

Abhishek heard her voice and turned his face to see who dared to stop him. Both were stunned to see each other. Both were lost and the other man took it as an opportunity and got out of Abhishek's hold. And held a knife in front of Arohi's neck to get out of there.

Arohi got scared and Abhishek's anger was too high now. "Leave her or you won't be able to walk home on you feet" Abhishek warned the man.

"Oh I bet you Abhishek" saying he pushed Arohi towards Abhishek and ran away. Abhishek immediately held her.

Arohi was shocked and held him tightly. She suddenly remembered the day she met him first. Here in this garden, at he exact same spot. This same scene happened years back as well. She looked up at him with wide.

"Are you okay my love?" He asked tucking the strands of hair behind her ear. A knowing smile on his face.

She smacked his chest and glared at him. "You did this on purpose na" she asked with hope. He just shrugged.

"Ahem" he moved back, his hands in his pocket. She looked at him with confusion. He smiled at her.

He enapped his fingers and all the lights turned on making Arohi gasp. The area was decorated with fairy lights. A small setup of a table which looked super cute.

"Wh-what is all this Abhi" she asked.

"5 years ago, today at this place we met for the second time. A place that changed everything, remember"

"Of course" she chuckled "But why are we here today?"

He took a deep breath "When I saw you for the first time, I was impressed by your looks, but the second time I saw you I was furious by your little stunt" he chuckled "The moment I got to know about this marriage arrangement, I was so not ready to marry a stupid little girl. But then we got married. I misunderstood you and did so many wrong things. Even if I apologise for my whole life, it won't justify my actions"

"Abhi.." he shook his head and continued.

"Turned out marrying you was the best decision of my life. It was forced upon me, but I don't think I could gt a better life partner than you. I am thankful for our families for getting us married" tears gathered in her eyes hearing this.

"I became so accustomed to having you around that even a moment without you felt like punishment. The fragrance of your food, the humming of songs, the jingling of anklets and bangles, it transformed that house a home I never knew I needed. I found myself loving everything about my home and your presence made it more beautiful. The fights and arguments bought us close and eventually made me fall in love with you"
