Happy Reading!
Arohi's POV:
I don't know where Abhi went so early in the morning. When I woke up he wasn't there. I asked everyone and they are just as clueless.
The kids ate my head out asking about their father. Huffff, they certainly love him more than me.
"Maa where is Abhi?" I asked entering the kitchen.
"I don't know bacha. Something urgent must have come up. Don't worry" I nodded.
I started chopping the vegetables "Arey Aru why are you doing this? Go take some rest beta I'll do it"
"Now you're treating me like a guest maa" I pouted.
She chuckled "Okay okay do as you wish in your house"
House. Yeah that is what this place is. Because my home was that penthouse.
All those memories flash across my mind but I shake it off. I really don't want to remember those things. Everything is fine now. Abhishek is my husband and we have kids together. Who love him a lot and vice versa.
Last night was memorable. The first night of the kids in this house, everyone made sure to make it the best one.
We played many games, talked a lot and watched some old videos. The kids got grumpy because they were not in those videos. On which everyone laughed and even Varun teased my little babies. It was a wholesome night.
"Aru what do the kids like to eat?" Maa's voice bought me back to reality.
"Almost everything. But sometimes it depends on their mood" I chuckled
"Okay and any allergies?"
"Yeah they are allergic to walnuts"
"Just like their father" she laughed and I smiled.
"See I have prepared this aloo-matar Paratha and chocolate milkshake"
"They both love aloo Paratha and give the milkshake when they both finish atleast 1 Paratha. Or else these devils won't eat Paratha and drink only milkshake"
"What's cooking ladies" dad and dadu enter the kitchen.
"Getting ready to pamper her grandchildren" I complain.
"Ohoo" dadu says.
"It's not pampering, it's showering love on them"
"Oooooooo" we laugh.
"And you, saying like I don't pamper you huh" she pulled my ear.
"Aa maa sorry sorry" she left my ear and smacked my head slowly.
I pouted and then hugged her tightly. She laughed and dad-dadu smiled at us.
I wish it was same with mumma. After the room scene, I didn't interact with her. I just avoided any conversation with her.
We settled and had the lunch. Abhi didn't come back nor picked up my call.
Even the kids were cranky not seeing their father and refused to eat. Dadu started telling them stories which took their minds off and they ate 2 parathas them milkshake.
After that they played with dadu and slept with him only. I could see the contentment in his eyes. Having his great-grandchildren by his side.
"Dadu you also take some rest" I said handing him his medicines.
He patter his side and I settled on the bed "How are you my dear?"
"I am perfectly fine dadu" I smiled.
