Abhisehk’s POV:
Fucking finally! I finally told the truth to Arohi. It feels as if a weight is pulled off my shoulders.
I snuggle more into her neck as we hug, seeking solace in her arms.
“Mumma” we hear a faint voice and separate from the hug and rush to the kids who finally opened their eyes.
“Abhir Abhira. Bacha are you okay do you feel any pain?” Arohi asked in panic.
“No mumma” they both giggled slightly making my heart flutter. Seems like they are up for a long time. Shaitan bache!
Arohi kiss their cheeks making them grin. They both kiss her back.
Their eyes turn to me and they squeal, and I chuckle. I go towards them and they both try to get up.
“Nooo you both need rest kiddos” I say and they pout.
I chuckle and help them to sit properly and hug them. Their tiny hands fist my shirt. I look up at Arohi and her confused look.
Ohh yeah she doesn’t know I have met them.
I pull her hand and hug my whole world. I guess this is what peace looks like.
I kiss their foreheads and the three giggle.
“Wht ale u ding hele” Abhira asked settling on my lap, looking at me with her doe eyes. (What are you doing here)
“Ofo Ru he cam to se us” Abhir said slapping his forehead.(Ofo Ru he came to see us)
“Rely” she asked with excitement. (Really)
“Yes baby I am here to meet you both”
The door of the room opened and doctor came inside with a smile. I tried to put Abhira back on bed but she frowned at me. Like other like daughter.
“Hmm so how are you little fighters” He checked the kids.
“When can we take them home doctor?” Arohi asked.
“You can take them tomorrow anytime you want. Tonight we will keep then under observation” seems right to me, as it’s already midnight, so no issues.
“Sure doctor thank you. Babies say thank you to doctor uncle” I said
“Thnk uuuuu” they sang and he smiled leaving the room.
“Hmm c’mon lay down now and take some rest” they both nodded like good babies and laid down and slept due to the medicines.
We both settled back on the couch.
“God such a horrible day” she said rubbing her temple.
“All well that ends well” I kiss her temple and she smiles.
“You have met them already?” She narrowed her eyes
“Mm hm. Their saviour” she frowned then understood eventually.
“O my god. Thank you so much for saving them”
“They are my kids as well”
“But you didn’t know it then yet you did. So thank you” she kissed my nose.
“They just stole my heart”
“I know” we stayed in silence.
“Abhi?” I hummed “Aren’t you angry that I hid them from you all this time?”
Am I angry? I don’t know, all this time I didn’t have time to think about this particular thing. Moreover I can’t be angry with my wife.
“Nah. All that matters to me is that you three are safe. Nothing else”.
She looked at me “Do you think family will forgive me for hiding them”
“Mm hm. They love you to much to stay angry on you. And I am sure the three of yours puppy face is enough to melt their hearts” we laugh and she hit my chest.
“Come back home Aru” she stilled. “Please everyone misses you a lot. There is not a single day when we don’t miss you”
“I can’t face them. I am so afraid Abhi” she looks away.
“You didn’t do anything wrong and they will understand you. They are our family Arohi. They love you and will love the kids too”
“I don’t know” she closes her eyes and leans back on the couch.
“Don’t think about it. Sleep now, I will keep an eye on my three kids”
“I am not a kid” she glared at me.
“No but you are my baby” her cheeks turned red and looked away shyly.
she kept her head on my shoulder and drifted to sleep. I looked at the trio sleeping peacefully.
I don’t know when I also slept like this
I woke up to the sound of giggles. I opened my eyes only to see the most beautiful scene in front of me.
Abhira and Abhir are laughing because their mumma is tickling them. Their giggles are like a music to my ears.
“Gud moling” tthey said in unison as they saw me. Twins for a reason.
“Good morning my babies” I kiss them all.
“Doctor checked them up, and said we can take them home” Arohi said with a warm smile.
“Hmm so ready to go home kiddos”
“Yesssss” they shouted and we laughed.
“I will go do the formalities” she nodded.
I did my morning routine in the attached washroom and then I went to the main reception and did all the payment . I then went to meet the doctor and asked necessary things.
Then I went back to the room and the kids were frowning. I looked at Arohi and she was not there.
“What happened my frowning babies” I sat on the bed and they settled on my lap immediately. I looked at their hand the IV drip was removed, thank god.
“Ics clem” their chin wobbled and I stifled a laugh.
“But doctor uncle said no na bacha” I swear their eyes were throwing daggers on me.
“No on lovs us” Abhira said.
“I luv u Ru” Abhir said with a frown.
“I also love you Ru” I kissed her cheek.
She shook her head and I kissed again and again. Soon she burst into laughter. She signaled at Abhir and we started tickling him and he also laughed.
I looked at the door and there stood my wife with her phone recording this moment.
“I love you” I mouthed and she blushed.
