Michelle sat on the edge of the couch as she was handed a folded piece of paper from somebody in the fourth wall. "What the hell is this thing?" She asked, looking it over. On the front side it read: Hey, read this. She shrugged, "Okay then I guess." She opened the paper and inside was a long list of writing. She cleared her throat and read off exactly as what was said.

"Hey, this is the author. I decided to write my author's note, in a uh, literal note. I don't like writing author's notes too often, so don't expect very many after this one. I'm just not a huge fan about writing them, I'm not quite sure why.

Don't take it personally, I appreciate all the readers and I really enjoy getting all of your comments, but I think the real people who should feel the pride are well, the characters. I didn't do any of that crazy shit like getting my leg bitten by a dog. That was all Axl. It was just my choice to let him. I guess I just don't like to involve myself too much in the story, y'know?

Hell that's why Michelle is reading my author's note.

I just think the notes kind of distract from the story. That's why she's reading it, and don't expect this to happen too soon again. Anyway, so I typically just choose not to write these except for when there really is something in the story or something coming up that I really should mention as disclaimers.

So here are my disclaimers.

Number 1, is that Michelle's pregnancy is not going to be medically accurate in the timing of her symptoms-"

She stopped her reading, "Wait what? Why not? Am I like, secretly an alien? I really hope not 'cause that's a really dumb plot twist." Somebody in the fourth wall tossed a penny at her head. She flinched, "Hey! Don't throw change at a pregnant lady!" She heard somebody mumbled sorry and she rolled her eyes, continuing to read.

"Michelle is not an alien, because yes, that is a really dumb twist. She is fully human, as is everybody in this story unless they are clearly mentioned as an animal. Michelle will experience typical pregnancy symptoms like nausea, dizziness, the baby kicking, etc. This is to make the story realistic and she usually has a bystander roommate help her through it and lets face it that's really cute.

However, these symptoms may not be in order or line up with which week of her pregnancy she is in. For instance, her ultrasound was able to tell that her baby was a boy before the usual time in reality that a doctor would be able to tell. There will be other untimed things such as this because there are certain key points in the plot based off those symptoms but they are later in a woman's pregnancy.

So this shall be done instead of typing out a million filler chapters just to get to that point. I understand that many authors might just set the chapters with a few weeks or longer periods of time in between each one, but I have decided not to do this because realistically in this household there would be too much going on in those few weeks between chapters to exclude, so they usually hold 1-4 at most days in between.

Second order of business, Erin Everly.

For those of you who aren't utterly obsessed with Guns N Roses like I am (but are reading a Slaxl ship for some reason) Erin Everly in reality was Axl Rose's wife in early Use Your Illusion era, they were married for one year, with Axl Rose I'm sure you can imagine plenty reasons why they were together only a year. Google it if you want its actually really interesting and very Axl.

On this order of business I'd like to start by reassuring to you that in this story they will not be getting married because 1. The timeline doesn't match up. 2. In a Slaxl ship there ain't no way that gonna happen.
