Sajawat was one of the best event managing companies in Mumbai. It had seen ups and downs, when Samaira and Kavin were kids and Yashwant alone handled it. Of course, he was a man of talents and managed the company quite well as per his times but as technology advanced, he felt difficulty in keeping up with the modern era. Until, Samaira and Kavin became of age and decided to handle the company. Which was the best decision ever because their new and fresh minds matched with the wants and demands of the generation and from then on, the company rose and never looked back.

Kavin was the director who lead the event strategy, set the vision, allocated budget, and managed external or internal partnerships while Samaira was the event coordinator who oversaw the entire event process, supervising the team to make sure nothing was a miss. The brother-sister duo worked as a perfect team but that didn't mean there wasn't another team who helped them maintain the class and style of the company.

Nafeesa, the marketing lead. Rania, the customer lead. Anika, the on-site lead. Shravan, the technologist. They all were excellent in their departments and were like a family to Samaira and Kavin. The only odd one out, at least according to Natasha, was the designer head, Vivek.

“Sam! Kavin! Oh and Nuts is here too!” - said a guy of 28, dressed up in ripped blue jeans and white t-shirt, walking towards them.

Kavin shook hands with Vivek but the later's eyes were fixed on Samaira and Natasha resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Kavin's phone rang and he excused himself, and Vivek fully turned to Samaira.

“You are looking stunning!” - he complimented as he pulled her in a little hug.

Natasha, who was standing behind him, acted like being sick which made Samaira gave her a ‘look’ before she pulled back.

“And how come our little Nuts is here ?” - he said smiling as he turned to her.

‘To kill you with my bare hands!’ - Natasha's inner voice snapped and she would have said that aloud if her sister was not looking at her from behind him.

“Vivek bhaiyaaa... how many times I have told you to not call me Nuts...” - she said smiling so sweetly that it almost turned bitter.

Samaira quietly sighed.

“I will be in your office Di.” - Natasha said to her, the same smile on her face as she gave one last look at Vivek before turning on her heels and leaving.

“Don't mind her. She's moody you know.” - Samaira said apologetically and he shook his head with a smile.

“I know. That's okay. Besides, anything else hardly catches my attention when my fiance is infront of me.” - he said softly.

Samaira went quiet. What could she say in return anyways ? Vivek was her childhood friend, they practically had grew up together, had a very nice understanding but... she didn't feel anything for him like he did for her. Their parents fixed their alliance a year ago because one, they themselves were close friends so decided to turn their friendship into relationship and two, Vivek had expressed his desire to marry her because he was in love with her. Her father had calmly asked her what she wanted and she had said yes. Because she didn't love anyone else and had to get married one day anyways so why not her childhood friend with whom she shared a good understanding ?

“It's just one month Sam. Just one. more. month. and then we'll be planning out our wedding decor.” - he said, smiling dreamily.

Samaira smiled in return. “I will catch up with you later, Nuts is waiting.” - she reasoned politely.

He grinned and nodded at her before she left from there. Her pencil heels clicked on the off-white tiles as she made her way towards her cabin.

“That was rude of you Nuts!” - she berated her sister as soon as she entered. “You could have been a little nice.” - she said as she dropped her purse on the table.
