"Mom, you guys should stay for a little more..."

There was a hint of nervousness in Samaira's tone which Rajveer didn't fail to notice. The entire palace was empty again as her relatives slowly started leaving after the reception last night while some left after breakfast in the morning. It was now just her family members who also were taking their leave.

Sonia smiled at her daughter and placed a hand on her cheek. "Mairoo, we'll keep visiting. And you can too, whenever you want." - she said gently, her eyes looking at Rajveer for confirmation who blinked with an assuring smile.

Samaira knew she could visit at will but... it was the fact that she was finally going to stay away from her family and alone with Rajveer that had her anxious. In the past days, she had her relatives and family, the hustle and bustle of the wedding, which kept her occupied. But now...

Just her and Rajveer.

Yashwant engulfed her in a warm big hug, kissing her head affectionately. Next she met Kavin, Anjana, and finally her chaotic sister, Natasha. Who was strangely quiet since the party last night. Samaira had inquired quite persistently if anything was bothering her but Natasha brushed it off with a smile saying she was just tired off the festivities.

But Samaira had her doubt still.

"I will miss you so much." - Natasha spoke softly as the duo hugged.

"I will miss you too. But you know you can visit whenever you want." - Samaira said with a warm smile as she pulled back. "And no complains from Mom or Bhabhi regarding you!" - she ordered somberly to which Natasha nodded with a chuckle.

Rajveer touched Sonia's and Yashwant's feet while hugged Kavin and Natasha. He signed his guards to drop them home despite their persistence of going by themselves. Samaira kept watching until the car crossed the iron gates and took a turn. Disappearing from the sight.

Rajveer turned to look at her as she continued looking at the now empty driveway. She was looking so beautiful in such a simple way that the moment arrested him. Her long teal blue shirt over golden chooridar was shining in the sunlight as it was made of silk. A golden organza dupatta rested over her left shoulder. Her hair was as always open, blowing away in the light wind.

And her eyes...

Those expressive eyes were holding a dozen of emotions at once. But the most prominent and, for him hurtful, was the hesitance to live with him. She was longing to be on that car that took her family home and his heart pained at that.

He cleared his throat to catch her attention and she finally returned back to her surroundings. She turned to him and his heart skipped a beat. It always did, whenever she looked into his eyes.

"You didn't eat anything in the breakfast." - he said quietly.

Knowing that her family was leaving, she had just tossed her food with the fork in her plate throughout the breakfast. And noticing that, he had lost interest in eating as well.

"Hungry ?" - he asked softly. Because he definitely was but wanted to eat with her.

But she shook her head softly in denial. And just that moment, her stomach grumbled in protest.

He raised a brow, a smile creeping up his lips as she blushed.

"Uh..." - she tried to say but couldn't.

His smile widened. She looked cute. He held her hands in his and rubbed the back with his thumbs.

"Why don't we sit on the terrace and have brunch ? I haven't eaten anything either and am feeling hungry as well." - he told her gently.
