Chapter 16 : Let's Meet The Guy Then!

It had been a very long and tiring conversation with the wedding expert team, deciding each and everything as Rajveer kept asking her choice every now and then.

"Keep this pin on anywhere on the map."

He had instructed, sliding a world globe towards her along with a thumb pin.

"And why should I do that ?" - she had asked icily.

"We will get married wherever you point on the map." - he had said, rendering her speechless.

Her face had dissolved into a sweet smile as an idea to annoy him as much as possible popped inside her head.

"Promise ?" - she asked with sickly sweet smile.

He had understood by the look in her eyes that she was not serious but still smiled his vibrant. "Promise."

She took the pin and stabbed it in the middle of the Pacific ocean, making the planners gasp in shock.

"I want to get married here. In the water." - she told him lovingly.

But instead of getting irritated as she had hoped and aimed for, he smiled.

"Above water or under ?"

"Ms. Purohit!"

Liam's call jerked her out of her reverie.

"We are outside your house." - he informed her politely.

She looked out the window and indeed they were outside her house. The lights of the house were on, so were of the street as it was almost 10 in the night and some dogs barking faraway could be heard faintly.

She exhaled. She needed to talk to her parents.

"I will come to meet your parents tomorrow." - Rajveer had announced as she was leaving after the dinner.

She had looked at him in horror.

"What ?! But why ???"

"Samairaaa... how will I ask for your hand in marriage without meeting your family ?"

He had asked calmly with a chuckle.

"But I haven't told them about you yet." - she said, her brows creasing.

"Then you should, first thing on reaching home." - he said with a smile but his eyes warning.

"Are you alright ma'am ?" - Liam's voice brought her out of her thoughts again.

Another long breath escaped her. "Yes. I'm fine." - she said.

A guard opened the gate for her and she stepped down. Slowly moving inside the house. Upon entering the lawn, she found Kavin's car parked and realized he had returned home as well. She was surprised to hear faint sound of laughter coming from the hall which kept growing in volume as she neared. Her eyes widened further when she saw her mother taking bad sight off Anjana and her father smiling at them as well.

"Di!" - Natasha shouted happily, spotting her first and ran towards her to drag her further inside. "We are going to be aunts!" - she announced excitedly.

Samaira's face broke into a wide smile as she looked at Sonia for confirmation who nodded her head, smiling from ear to ear as well. Samaira went towards Anjana who was seated on the sofa and hugged her tightly.

"I am so happy to hear that Gosh!" - she said. Anjana hugged her back warmly before she pulled back. "When did you find out ?" - she asked.

"Barely an hour ago." - Sonia replied. "She fainted during dinner. We quickly called a doctor who gave us the good news." - Sonia's eyes were so alive, like she was already racking her brain for the names of the unborn baby. And that made Samaira chuckle.
