FOUR MONTHS LATER

Rajveer, along with the Purohit family, waited outside the labour room impatiently. It's been half an hour since the doctor had arrived as Samaira had undergone the third stage of labour. Rajveer started to get impatient but just then, a low-pitched, rhythmic and repetitive cry reached his ears, announcing the arrival of the newborn baby. He shot to his feet, a smile forming on his face, and the nurse stepped out of the labour room.

“Congratulations Mr. Shekhawat. You are now the father of a boy.” - she informed with a humble smile.

Behind him, Natasha squealed loudly, and the rest of the family congratulated him and one another.

“And Samaira ?” - he asked, concerned.

“She is fine too. We are shifting her and the baby in the postpartum room, then you can meet them.” - the nurse assured before leaving.

After ten minutes, he entered the room where his entire universe was. The sight that met him upon entering would be carved on his mind forever.

Samaira was nursing their son in her arms, a soft smile on her face as she played with the light tufts of hair on his small head. At the sound of the door opening, she looked up and smiled at him radiantly.

He paused for a moment. Contentment flooding his system.

“He is your carbon copy.” - she said softly. “I bet he'll grow up to be as handsome as you.” -

Her eyes moistened feeling overwhelmed and he could completely relate to her. They'll watch their son grow up, playing and learning, making his place in the world. God, his heart soared.

Swallowing, he walked towards his little but extremely precious world and sat beside them on the bed. She placed her head on his shoulder, a contented sigh escaping her lips.

“Promise me that in the ‘father passing everything to his son’ tradition, your clothing won't be included. Only I can wear them.”

Her out of the blue demand brought out a hearty laughter out of him. He turned to look at her and found her pouting. He pecked her pouting lips gently, turning them into a smile and gazed into her eyes.

“Deal.”

SIX YEARS LATER

“Sameer Rajveer Shekhawat!”

6 years old Sameer froze in his place; standing on the stool with his hand in the cookie jar which he had sneaked out from the upper cabinet. He knew he was in trouble as he heard his full name booming in his mother's voice.

Gulping, he turned to look at his mother who had her arms crossed and was tapping her foot on the floor. Her eyes blazing. He sheepishly got down the stool and placed the jar on the counter before standing infront of her with his head bent in shame.

Rajveer came running to the kitchen, having heard his wife's shout and halted in his steps at the scene.

Oh.

His son was in trouble.

Again.

Sameer looked at his father hopefully for some rescue but before he could say anything, Samaira rounded on him and raised a brow that said ‘do you really want to intervene ?’

He raised his hands up in surrender, giving Sameer an apologetic look.

Satisfied, Samaira turned to her son again. ”Your dentist said in the last appointment that you are in danger of catching cavity due to eating too many sweets and has forbade you the unnecessary access. So what do you think you are doing sneaking into the kitchen like this young man ?!”

Sameer's head bowed down again, his little face flushing.

“Do you realize your misconduct ?” - Samaira asked, her tone stern yet full of love at the same time.

Sameer nodded his head.

“Are you ashamed and promise to not behave carelessly again ?” - she asked, her tone getting gentler.

Sameer peaked a look at her face but quickly looked down again as she still looked strict.

“Yes, I promise.” - he said honestly.

“Good. And if you broke your promise, then I won't let you meet Ramsha.”

He gasped in horror and looked up in panic. His mother was smirking smugly. Everybody knew how much he loved to play with the 3 years old daughter of his aunt Natasha.

“Now be a good boy and go straight to bed. You have school tomorrow.” - she said, finally smiling at her son's cuteness who sulkingly left the kitchen.

Shaking her head, she went to the counter and closed the cookie jar. Opening the cabinet, she placed it inside when two arms tightly snaked around her waist from behind and made her gasp.

“Do you have any idea how f*cking hot you look when irked ?” - he nuzzled her hair, his breath warm on her ear.

She had. At times, he purposefully irritated her just because she looked hotter, according to him and it drove him insane. Their resulting coupling was always wilder than usual as well.

“We are in the kitchen Raj...” - she tried to admonish but her hand reaching behind to card her fingers through his hair and throwing her head over his shoulder to give him access to her neck told a different story.

“The only place which we have not used inappropriately...” - he whispered. “Yet.”

She groaned as he sucked on her pulse point. In one swift motion, he turned her around and placed her on the counter before standing between her legs. She gasped, her head falling back as he reattached his mouth to her neck. She impatiently ran her fingers through his hair, soft moans and whimpers leaving her mouth as his kisses turned aggressive.

She was falling back due to the force but his arms came around her waist, not letting her go out of his lips' reach.

“Say yes...” - he whispered, his breath warm on her shoulder as he slipped her sleeve off it.

She wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him back by his head to kiss him. But before, she whispered the words he wanted to hear :

“Yes, yes, yes...”

And they were off for yet another wild, romantic and adventurous ride. Their mouths fusing together passionately. The passion, with which they looked at each other, touched each other. That was going to be the same like the first day.

Forever.
