Rajveer couldn't help but silently chuckle at his adorable wife. He was all ready to leave for office as it was half past 8 in the morning, and despite his several attempts to wake her up, she had refused to budge. Although, he was guilty of not being sincere in his attempts as she looked so cute that he didn't have the heart to disturb her sleep.

“Lemme sleep...” - she mumbled after another half-hearted attempt of his, hugging the pillow tighter.

He grinned. Hadn't he been right that she'll take an off after he was through with her ?

Bending down, he kissed her cheek and adjusted the quilt further. A lazy smile came on her face in sleep that melted his heart.

“You are my everything...” - he whispered, causing her unconscious smile to deepen further.

Smiling, he stole another kiss off her temple before quietly leaving the room.

Samaira woke up with a jolt. She felt a sudden bile rising in her throat and quickly pushing the quilt away, she bolted to the bathroom. Bending over the basin, she started throwing up. Her head spinned as she straightened up and washed her mouth and slowly returned to the room. It's been ages she had not fallen sick. The reason of the sudden change in her health was a mystery to her.

She dropped to the bed heavily, feeling drained out, and winced in pain. A blush crept upon her face as her brain reminded her the activities of the night before due to which she was sore. That's when she realized that Rajveer was not in the room. Her gaze fell on the clock and her mouth dropped open at 10:17 AM ticking at her. She had never slept till so late ever before!

“God, I missed office as well...” - she groaned in another realization and quickly picking up her phone, called Rajveer.

“Hey darling...”

The crease on her forehead eased out and her face morphed into a soft smile. She laid back on the bed, her feet dangling off the edge, and replied :

“Mmm... your voice, first thing in the morninggg... now that's a way to wake uppp...”

His wholehearted laugh in response made her heart soar and she suddenly felt fresh and energized.

“Someone's in a mischievous mood...” - he said and she could feel he was grinning.

“And grumpy! Why didn't you wake me up ?”

He let out another laugh. “Mrs. Rajveer Shekhawat, I spent almost ten minutes in trying to wake you up but you were dozing off without any care in the world.” - he teased, his voice full of mirth.

She blushed. It wasn't her fault! He hadn't let her sleep till early hours of the morning, making her scream his name again and again. But considering it was her because of whom he had sent Liam to Chicago instead of going himself for the deal, she was guilty as charged — guilty, yes, but not complaining. Oh, not. at. all.

“Your mind is working at jet speed these days...” - he said, breaking her chain of thoughts, and her blush deepened. He knew her so well.

“Raj...” - she whined, placing an arm over her eyes to cover her blush as if, he was watching.

He softly laughed. “Did you have breakfast ?” - he asked.

Her nose scrunched up. Just at the mention of breakfast, she felt like she was going to be sick again.

“Samaira...” - he probed, his tone turning worried.

She bit her lip. He was already very protective of her. If she told him she was feeling offish, he'd get worried. Hence she decided to not tell him.
