After Daelys moves away from Daemon, Rhaenyra walks over to her. "How do you find Daemon?" She asks.
"He is not what I imagined." Daelys replies, after thinking about the answer.
Rhaenyra chuckles lowly. "He has that reputation." She notes. "Did you tell him?"
Daelys nods. "In a way." She replies. "He knew my father can't be.... and he said my father has to be a Targaryen. The rest he figured out by the look I gave him."
Rhaenyra smiles at her daughter's answer. "I will talk with him afterwards. For now talk with others as well." She orders.
Daelys nods and walks over to where Aemond is standing alone. "It is surprising to see you alone." Daelys says to announce herself.
Aemond turns around slightly startled. If the air wasn't so heavy Daelys would have laughed. But she simply smiled. Seeing it's only Daelys, Aemond relaxes.
"You couldn't have made some noise?" He asks irritated.
Daelys smiles cheekily. "That won't really be fun." Daelys says.
Aemond shakes his head. "We can't be ourselves here. Come to my room tonight." Aemond whispers.
"And what will we be there?" Daelys asks.
"We will have to find that out together." Aemond says.
Even though Aemond is smiling, Daelys can tell that something is bothering him. Daelys gently places her hand on Aemond's shoulder.
"What is it?" She asks.
'Why can she understand me so well? I can't just tell her that I am thinking about claiming Vhagar. She will make sure I can't then. I wish I didn't need to lie to her.' Aemond thinks.
Aemond shakes his head. "Nothing." He replies, a little too quickly. "Come to my room after everyone is asleep and we will talk about everything. I promise."
Daelys nods. "Alright." She says. If they were not in public Aemond would have hugged her and may have kissed her as well. But here they are and have to maintain decorum.
Daelys moves away knowing talking with Aemond, in public, for any longer will raise questions. She notices Viserys walk over to Daemon. She doesn't need to hear to know that Viserys wants Daemon back in court.
After they exchange a few words, Daemon starts to walk away but not without sending a glare towards Otto. Daelys also notices that Rhaenyra is looking at Daemon.
The sky soon begins to darken and everyone starts to retire. Viserys clearly has the death of his own wife on his mind as he starts to walk inside as well.
As he passes Alicent, he says, "I am going to bed, Aemma."
Ser Harrold Westerling corrects Viserys by saying, "Shall I see after Queen Alicent, your grace?"
Alicent is clearly unnerved by this. She quickly gathers her children to leave. Aemond quickly throws a glance towards Daelys, his eyebrows slightly raised.
Daelys discreetly nods, showing she will be there. Satisfied Aemond walks away. Daelys then notices her mother walking to where Daemon had disappeared.
She quickly walks over to her. "Where are you going, mother?" She asks.
Rhaenyra turns around smiling. "I need to do this. Make sure your brothers are in bed." She replies.
Daelys doesn't say anything else and leaves to gather her brothers. She realises that Jace and Luke have grown close with their cousins, Baela and Rhaena.
