"Which dragons do they ride?" Daemon asks Jaehaerys.
"Ulf White rides Silverwing and Hugh Hammer rides Vermithor." Jaehaerys answers.
"We can take them." Daemon says. "They are not experienced riders."
"Yet they ride big dragons." Cregan points out.
"We have three on our side maybe four. All of us experienced." Jaehaerys retorts. "What else do we need?"
Cregan takes a deep breath. "What will House Lannister do?" Jonnel asks.
"That is upto them." Jaehaerys answers. "They can either all turn back or half of them will. But Lannisport cannot be lost."
"What are the Hightowers to do?" Cregan asks.
"They are to stay at Highgarden for now. As soon as Father can travel, they will go to Tumbleton. We are to meet them there." Jaehaerys answers. "If that is all, then I would suggest we plan our next steps."
"What will our next step be?" Criston asks. Aemond looks at Daena. She raises her eyebrows slightly before clearing her throat.
"Bronzegate is the only place standing except Storm's End. If we take them down, Storm's End stands alone." Daena says. "How long before we can march?"
"One day." Criston replies.
"Then we march on Bronzegate tomorrow." Daena says. "After taking Bronzegate, we will take Storm's End."
"We will do so." Aemond speaks up. "Prepare the troops."
"Yes, your Grace." Criston leaves the room.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Daena asks.
"Because you need to learn." Aemond answers. "You have planned more battle than I have so you have more experience."
Daena raises her eyebrows. "Not many would admit that to their children."
"A king or Queen cannot afford to be like 'many'." Aemond says.
"A King or Queen would have never admitted that." Daena retorts immediately.
"That is the reason Daelys and I are different Queen and King than all before us." Aemond states.
Daena sighs. "That is true." She agrees. "Did you tell Mother?"
"No." Aemond answers. "But I cannot say the same about Jaehaerys."
"He wouldn't have." Daena says confidently. Aemond thinks better of telling Daena that Daelys has learned from Jaehaerys. She can hear that from Jaehaerys himself.
"They already have three experienced dragon riders against Ulf White and Hugh Hammer. Why can we both not go to Lannisport?" Joffrey asks outraged.
"We do not know the kind of danger they will face at Harrenhal. They need all the support they can get." Lord Jason counters. "I can take the city back even if I had no dragons with me."
"The people will fight for you. We know." Dyanna says impatiently. "You have said it enough. But be careful. Take Aegon with you. If necessary then stay back."
Joffrey sighs. "Fine. But if I learn anything has gone wrong, I am flying to Lannisport."
"We can agree on that." Jason says. "Aegon and I leave under the cover of the night."
"I will be prepared." Aegon says.
"How much longer before we can lay siege on King's Landing?" Daelys asks Caron.
