"It's been more than one year and we found nothing against Jace except his behaviour to Baela." Daelys says irritatedly.

"It doesn't make any sense, I will admit." Daemon says. "We can't keep going after him. And I am leaving in two days."

Daelys sighs. "While you are on the Royal Progress, search the castles as much as possible. This may be out best chance of finding anything."

"We are lucky that it will last longer than a year." Daemon says.

"Then you will have more than enough time to check the castles discreetly." Daelys tells Daemon.

"Seems like it." Daemon says. "Keep an eye around here. You will be in charge even though Jace will hate it."

"He will be joining the tour for how long again?" Daelys asks sarcastically.

"The entire time." Daemon answers.

"I doubt it." Daelys mutters. "Let me know if he ever leaves."

"Very well." Daemon says heading for the door. "Be careful with what you do. This will be your first time ruling."

"If I do an extremely well job, I will have everyone's support in the coming war." Daelys rolls her eyes at Daemon's face. "You can pretend all you like that a war isn't coming. But you know it. And soon everyone will choose a side. This is my chance to show everyone that I am the perfect Queen for them."

Daemon looks at Daelys for a few seconds and nods. "Do it well."

"It seems like I have some bad news for you." Jace says.

"Can't wait to hear it." Aemond mutters. "Must be something mind blowing." Aegon snickers.

Jace rolls his eyes. "Looks like I will be taking a break from coming here." He says.

Aegon and Aemond both look at Jace with narrowed eyes. "Got bored of us after only two years?" Aemond retorts.

Jace smirks and steps closer to the cell. "No, but you know who did? Daelys. Don't you think she would have found you by now if she wanted to. And she hasn't been to Dragonstone even once since Mother became Queen. She helps Mother run the Seven Kingdoms. She doesn't care about you."

Aemond takes a deep breath. "That was the worst lie I had ever heard. You are not poisoning me against my wife." Aemond says calmly.

Jace smirks. "We will see then, won't we? She actually believed when Mother told her that you ran away."

"Stop lying." Aemond says cutting across Jace.

Jace chuckles. "The truth really hurts, doesn't it? Oh, well. There's only so much I can do. I am just saving you from getting your hopes up."

Now it's Aemond's turn to chuckle. "Do you really think that I will believe you of all people about Daelys? Especially when it involves me?" Aemond steps closer. "If you did, then I must say you are the biggest idiot I have ever seen."

Jace stares into Aemond's eye for a second quietly. Aemond smirks knowing he won the argument. Without saying anything Jace turns around. He gestures with his hand.

"Since I don't think I can visit again for quite some time, I will do both of you tonight." Jace says as the guards drag them both out of the cell and to two different poles. "This is going to be fun."

"Your first official day as Queen. You must be excited." Baela says.

"Acting Queen." Daelys corrects. "With both the Queen and the Hand gone, we will have to do this together."
