Annabeth was falling. Tumbling down into and inky blackness wondering how the Fates could be so cruel while she was frozen in terror. Then, strong arms wrapped her in an embrace and then she realised. Percy. On this stupid quest for a stupid statue for her mother who didn't even care for her. It was hard being a demigod. But too fall into Tartaus? Not fair.
Percy, her amazing boyfriend had fallen into Tartarus with her. Now they were going to die. If a monster didn't, the environment would. She kissed him fiercely. "I love you Seaweed Brain." She whispered. Annabeth could already feel the toxic air entering her lungs.
But the thing was, she didn't want to die. They were going to get through this. Percy held her as they fell.
All the way down.
