Percy
Things had not been going well between him and Annabeth lately. Whether it was Aphrodite screwing them around or something else he didn't know and he didn't care. He just wanted it to be fixed. Tensions had been rising between them and more than once it had ended in an huge argument. That's exactly what happened last night. It had ended with Annabeth storming out of his cabin and leaving him lost for words. It was time to make it right.
He walked around the camp, unable to find her until he realised he was looking in the completely wrong way. He had to think like Annabeth. He visited the Archery, Library, her Cabin and then he remembered. Her favourite place here. The dock. He'd take 20 minutes to figure it out.
"Wise Girl?"
"Yes Percy?" She replied, her voice thick.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine." Annabeth turned her head away from him so he couldn't see her beautiful face.
"No you aren't. What's the matter?"
"Nothing."
"Annabeth please."
"I don't know."
"Well, it has to be something, let's try and figure it out yeah?"
And then he saw it. The tiny cracks in her facade that led her to break. "I'm...I'm so sorry Percy."  Tears streamed down her face and he hugged her tightly. "There's nothing to be sorry about. What brought this on Annabeth?" Percy asked in the most gentle tone he could muster. Silence. And then a tiny voice let out a whisper. Percy didn't hear it at first, and then heard one word repeat over and over again - nightmares. "It's going to be okay." replied Percy, stroking Annabeth's hair as he pulled her closer. Her sobs racked her body and tears dripped onto his top. "You...you left me. You left me broken and you looked back with this wicked grin on your face and then you turned into Luke."
"Wise Girl. You know I'd never do that. I love you too much. I swear on the Styx."
"Percy, I'm so sorry." The panic and fear was evident in her eyes. So he let his heart take over any reasonable thoughts and kissed her. It was like when they kissed the first time in the dining pavilion. She closed her eyes and kissed back, her hands tangling themselves in his hair. "I love you" she said.
"I know."

(AN- I had the opportunity for a Star Wars pun and I used it. Sorry not sorry)

"I just messed everything up Perce, I'm sorry." The tears were threatening to spill again and Percy kissed each of them away. He also made a silent prayer to whatever God or Goddess was doing this to his girlfriend and begged them to stop. "Nobody ever said love was easy. Everything we do is a work in progress, and I love you so much that I'm able to get over anything that gets in our way. You don't have to lie about how you feel, just tell me okay?" He placed his hand on her cheek and kissed her lightly. "I promise." Annabeth smiled slightly.

The end. I know it's really short but I didn't know what else to write so....
