George's POV

"He's in a coma."

Wilbur was in a coma? But it was just testosterone. Don't all men have that? "But Tubbo..." My voice came out gravelly and rough, "Don't all men have testosterone in them?"

Tommy barged in. "George... the doctor said Wilbur was treated with the one for animals. His animal side absorbed most of it and grew antlers, so the side effects came along so late."

Sapnap started speaking. "Tubbo, Tommy... he's OK, right? Wilbur? He's OK, right?" Sapnap's voice sounded panicky. "Right?"

Tubbo replied, "I-It depends on what you mean."

"Like, is he gonna wake up?" Karl asked.

"He might... and might not," Tommy said. "He could be in a coma for weeks, months, years. The doctor said all we could do was hope for the best. But she's gonna contact the hospital Wilbur went to so they can find out how to speed up the waking up process. They have the testosterone... they also must have a way to speed up the process."

Tubbo spoke. "We're gonna come back in a bit. See you guys soon." He hung up.

"Is Wilbur gonna die?" Dream abruptly asked, his face pale.

Everyone went silent, contemplating the question. I spoke up. "He- he won't. Wilbur will wake up. He will." It felt like I was just comforting myself than assuring the others.

Karl responded first. "George... I appreciate your thinking, but... we can't be optimistic all the time. We have to be realistic sometimes. So I'll say it. Wilbur might d-"

"No!" I cried, standing up. "He won't! Stop saying that!"

I ran up the stairs and into my room where I lay sobbing into my pillow until Dream knocked on my door. "Gogy?" he whispered softly, twisting the doorknob open and entering my room.

He sat down on my bed and heaved me up so I was sitting up. Even though I had been only crying for a few seconds, my eyes were red and puffy.

"Gogy. George. Stop crying," Dream said quietly, tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

I sniffed as Dream held me in his arms. "I'm s-sorry," I hiccoughed. "Don't be."

Sapnap's POV

"No! He won't! Stop saying that!" George yelled, getting up and running to his room. We heard his door slamming loudly and Karl murmured, "I might've said something wrong..."

Dream stood up. "I'm going up," he muttered, disappearing up the stairs. "Gogy?" Me and Karl heard him whisper before a creaking sound indicated Dream was opening George's door.

The door clicked shut above and Karl snuggled back into me. "I'm scared."

"Don't be."
