"Oh you look so beautiful, my lady!"

"You look like a princess, ma'am!"

A faint smile has appeared my lips as soon as those compliments said by the maid's who's helping me. I didn't bother to answer them and just look at myself in the mirror.

"This is me?"

I stood there wearing a big and extravagant white gown, my long black and purple hair is tied in a clean bun that is now covered by a long white veil. My face is covered with a light make-up which made my face itchy.

I am not used to this kind of things...

"Let us head out, ma'am... the Duke is waiting for you" the maid spoke.

I silently nodded at her and took the bouquet of flowers that was placed in the table not so far from me.

The maid was helping me as I walk, the dress was blocking my heeled shoes that really made me uncomfortable.

Once I have saw the big doors of the church , I wanted to run away...

Far, far away from here.

But, I don't have a choice. I don't have the freedom to do such imagination.

"There will be no turning back."

Those were the words I whispered in my mind. The words I might probably never forget.

Slowly, the doors opened revealing an empty church.

I sighed once more and started to walk inside in a very slow pace.

There were no crowd...

No one was there to look at me as I silently walked the petal pathway, although it made me a little delighted because I won't be having a hard time to look in front.

But at the same time a bit disappointed, I never imagined that my wedding will be like this.

And just when I stopped, the priest was already smiling as he was holding an old thick book.

My father, who was just standing in the left side... quietly looking at me.

"Shinobu."

Finally... There he is, standing in front of me as he held out his hand for me to take.

He was wearing a white tuxedo  with badges in a extravagant sash, he was wearing  big coat with gold linings as a design. His hair was neatly tied in a low ponytail and his bangs are gelled neatly revealing his nonchalant face.

My hand that was holding the boquet of white roses has shakenly took his above a gloved hand.

We both now walked closer in front of the priest, no words and never looked at each other once  more and then they have started the ceremon.

He was the first one to sign the papers and the next one was me...

The moment he held the feather pen and signed the paper and put it back. I had second thoughts.

"Should I sign?"

"Can I just run away?"

I held the feather pen tightly...

But then I heard a fake cough, making me stop and look at the person beside me.

HE was looking in front, not me.

Quickly, I signed the papers and look ahead the priest.

"Shinobu Kocho, Giyu Tomioka, as you both signed this marriage certificate..."

They say that wedding and marriage is every woman's dream.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife."

But not me...

Because from this day, until m last-

"You may now kiss the bride."

I will bitterly live as Shinobu Tomioka...
