In the bunker

Sam's POV

Dean really left me alone with three teenagers, so that he could go on a supply run? Really? We run out of beer, so he leaves me to watch the kids? Alone? These kids are gonna eat me alive.

Claire: How many times am I gonna have to tell you that "no" isn't a valid answer. You can't just say "no" and expect me to move on.

Sam: You're not taking a break, Claire. You've been working for maybe 20 minutes. So saying "no" is actually a very valid answer, right now.

Claire: "20 minutes"? I've been up since 8:15.

Sam: Being awake has nothing to do with how much work you've done. You've been up since 8:15, yes. But you've only worked for about 20 minutes, because you keeping getting up and leaving the room. You've given yourself enough breaks. It's time to actually get some work done.

Claire: You let Jay take a break.

Sam: That's because Jay was actually doing his work. If you want a break, do some work. More than 20 minutes worth of work. Ok?

I make her sit back down in her chair, then I leave the room. If I'm in the room while she's supposed to be working, she's just gonna complain to me about not wanting to work. So I'm gonna go check on Krissy, who's supposed to be working in her room. Dean told her that if it helped her focus, she could work in her room. That was about an hour ago. Once to her room, I find her doing something on her phone.

Sam: Do I have to take that until you finish your work?

She jumps, probably having not heard me come in.

Krissy: Do you not know how to knock? She asks as she turns to face me.

Sam: I'm not even in the room. I'm at the door.

Krissy: Wow. Such a difference. She says with a sarcastic tone.

Sam: You're supposed to be working. Not doing whatever you're doing on your phone.

Krissy: I'm just checking Snapchat.

Sam: Well, check Snapchat later. You're supposed to be working right now. If you don't put the phone down, I'm gonna take it, until you're done with all of your school work.

Krissy: Fine. But if I can't be on Snapchat, then you should go tell Jay the same thing.

Sam: How would you know what Jay's doing?

Krissy: Who do you think I'm snapping?

I should've figured that if one of them would rather be on social media than doing school work, than so would the rest of them.
