At the mall

Jay's POV

Sam and Dean let us go to the mall, because they were tired of arguing with us. I guess this is better than them grounding us. But did they seriously think it would be a good idea to trust three teenagers who like to steal, to be in public without adult supervision? Well, Krissy's an adult, but she's too focused on her girlfriend, to really care about anything else. Rae just so happened to be here, when the rest of us got here. So it's really just me and Claire hanging out, while Krissy walks around with Rae.

Claire: You think she'll be ok if we walk around?

Jay: Yeah. It's not like she's alone. And I'm pretty sure Rae has like, 9 military grade weapons on her.

I like Rae. As a friend, of course. I just think that she's a little scary. And being that she ended up with Krissy, she might actually have 9 military grade weapons on her. They both might.

Krissy: Hey. She calls as she and Rae walk up to me and Claire We're gonna go eat. We'll be in the food court for a while, if anybody needs us.

Jay: Ok. Take this. I say while handing her my pocket knife.

Krissy: It's the food court, Jay.

Jay: Yeah. But people are crazy. I have another one. Take this one.

Krissy: Fine. But you're just being paranoid. She says while taking the pocket knife.

While they're walking away, Rae shows me her own pocket knife, that's much bigger than mine.

Jay: Yeah. I think they'll be fine.

Claire: You're not scared of Rae, are you?

Jay: No. I'm just glad that I'm on her friends list, and not her enemies list.

Claire: As long as you don't give her a reason, she won't stab you. You'll be fine.

We leave whatever store this is, and start walking in the opposite direction of Krissy and Rae.

Jay: Do you think they'd sell cigarettes to me?

Claire: This is the mall. Where in the mall do you think you're even gonna find cigarettes?

Jay: I swear I saw some when we walked in. But-

Claire: And why would you wanna steal cigarettes again? You've already done that. Go for something that you haven't stolen already.

Jay: As my friend, aren't you supposed to advise me not to steal?

Claire: As your friend, I'm supposed to steal with you.

Jay: But this is the mall. There are cameras everywhere.

I know that stealing is wrong, and that it's not a good idea. But it's just so fun. It's such a fun thing to do. I don't know why. It just is. I just find stealing fun. It's a problem. I know.
