At the store

Jay's POV

I've always hated grocery shopping. Mainly because it takes forever, and I eventually get bored. It's fun at first. You're looking for whatever food you're out of. But then it gets really boring, and you just wanna finish and go home. Sam and Dean eat all of our food, so we have to grocery shop every like, two weeks. That doesn't include supply runs. Those are just mini grocery trips, to hold us off until we can actually go grocery shopping. Actual grocery shopping is boring as hell, and I hate it. We've been in this store for an hour and a half, just shopping for food. I wanna go home.

Sam: Where's Claire? He asks while turning to face me.

Jay: I don't know. She probably went to the bathroom.

Sam: You don't know where she went?

Jay: I'm not watching her every move. I'm not her parent. She's probably with Krissy. I say, only just now noticing that Krissy's also gone.

Please don't ever ask me to keep track of anybody. I will fail. I don't even know how long either of them have been gone. They could've been gone for 5 minutes. They could've been gone for 30 minutes. They could've been gone for an hour. I honestly wasn't paying attention to either of them. But they most likely walked off together.

Sam: When did Krissy walk away?

Jay: I don't know. Probably the same time Claire did. That's why I said that they're probably together.

Sam: Call one of them. See where they are.

I nod and call Claire, because Krissy never answers the phone. I don't even think she knows that it's ringing, half the time.

Claire: Hello?

Jay: Where are you?

Claire: In the sweater section.

Jay: Is Krissy with you?

Claire: No. She went to the little kids toy section.

Jay: Sam wanted to know where you are.

Claire: We got bored and walked away.

Sam: Where are they?

Jay: Claire's in the sweater section, and Krissy's in the little kids toy section.

Sam: Tell them that we're only here for groceries.

Jay: Sam said that we're only here for groceries. So you can't have any sweaters.

Claire: I know. These sweaters are ugly anyway. I'm just looking.

Jay: She said she's just looking.
