"There you are, darling!" Mina smiled as she walked into the bedroom.
She found you sitting on the bed with your jaw clenched and your arms folded over her chest.
It was a look that told her that you were very upset about something and she wasn't sure if she wanted to ask you what it was and risk making you more upset.
But she knew she needed to be a good wife and check on you and see if there was anything she could do to make you feel better.
"Are you okay?"
You shrugged your shoulders.
"Are you all packed?" She asked with a grin. "We leave for our honeymoon soon. Aren't you excited?"
"I don't know, Mina." You said. "Are you sure I'm the one you want to go on the honeymoon with?"
"What are you talking about?" She frowned. "Of course you are."
"Really? Because I had lunch with my friend today. You know, the one that was my bridesmaid at our wedding last week." You said and Mina's heart dropped instantly, though she tried not to let it show.
"She confessed something to me."
"She did? What's that?" Mina nervously asked.
"Don't play stupid, Mina. You already know!" You said as you raised your voice. "You two have been sleeping with each other. You've been cheating on me!"
Mina hung her head as a heavy sigh left her lips.
"The guilt was practically eating away at her, so she told me about everything today. Meanwhile, you've been sleeping with me day and night and didn't ever think about telling me. You didn't feel guilty about what you two have been doing, have you?"
"Y/N, I-"
"Shut up! I'm talking." You said and Mina went quiet instantly. "And to make things worse, you two hooked up the day of our wedding? You've been doing this since we got engaged, which means it's been months' worth of you hooking up with my best friend. And you married me without telling me! You come home and you look me in the eyes and you lie day after day to me! How could you?"
"I'm so sorry." She said as her emotions began to overwhelm her. "I don't know why I did it. I just got so caught up in it all and I couldn't stop."
"You're a liar, Mina. You're a liar and a cheater. You're unfaithful and I can't be with someone like that."
"What are you saying?" She asked and watched you take your ring off.
You put it on the desk and shook your head at her.
"I'm filing for divorce tomorrow. Tonight, I'm going to stay with a friend. I'll come back for my things but we are over. I'm done."
"But, Y/N," She cried as she followed you down the stairs. "I love you. Please don't do this!"
"Love me? You love me? We got married a week ago and you have been cheating on me every day since then with the girl who was my bridesmaid! You don't love me. You never have and you never will."
"Please, don't go!" She pleaded as you made your way out the door and to your car.
"Goodbye, Mina." You said before pulling away as Mina fell to the ground in tears, wondering how she could've ever made so many terrible mistakes and what she was ever going to do without you.
