Author's Note: I cried while writing this, it was pretty emotional. This chapter involves Y/N's death and the girls comforting Mina so please don't read if that's hard for you or makes you uncomfortable.

Also, a good song to listen to while reading this is bigger than the whole sky by Taylor. I had it on repeat for the little while I spent writing this. Just a suggestion, of course, but I think it fits well.

I love you all 🩷

"Mina, come on," Jihyo softly spoke as she held onto Mina's hand, slowly and carefully pulling her into the kitchen.

The other girls were all sitting around in there, talking quietly and trying to eat a little food.

But as soon as Mina was in the room, they all went quiet and focused on her.

"Sit down," Jihyo spoke quietly as she helped Mina into one of the seats at the table.

"Mina? Are you okay?" Tzuyu worriedly asked as she put her hand over her friend's and watched her shake her head wordlessly.

"I'll get you some food," Jeongyeon said.

"I'm not hungry," Mina spoke as she lowered her head, feeling the tears continue to sting her eyes.

"We know you're not but you haven't eaten in two days now. You have to eat a little something." Momo said as she squeezed Mina's shoulder gently.

"What's the point? There's no point in anything now that she's gone." Mina sadly spoke.

She was talking about you, of course.

But you weren't gone as in you and Mina ending things or you walking out randomly one day.

But rather, your death.

It happened just a couple of days ago.

You had been on the road making your way to the dorm to see Mina after a long day at work.

You were careful despite your long day and despite the stress you'd been under.

But just because you're careful doesn't mean everyone else on the road is careful.

Someone was careless and drunk and they had hit your car, causing it to flip a few times.

The damage to your car was bad but worse than that was the damage to your body.

You had suffered severe injuries; fatal injuries.

Mina had been notified immediately and had made it to the hospital but you only made it a couple of hours after that before your heart stopped and they couldn't bring you back.

Mina feels as though her whole world has fallen apart.

She feels as though she's lost everything.

All the hopes and dreams she had with you and the future she saw with you by her side were destroyed and she was devastated.

The girls, of course, are grieving as well.

It's hard for them to function as they all feel a hole in their hearts without you around and knowing that you'll never come back.

They are trying everything to keep themselves together for Mina though, because she's in the most pain she's ever been in and she needs them now more than ever.

As Jeongyeon sat a plate of food on the table in front of her, Mina just hung her head a little more as she sniffled.

She sees everything the girls are doing for her as they try to take care of her and help her through the intense pain she feels.

She just can't seem to find the words to thank them for it when everything feels so grey and so hopeless.

Seeing her starting to cry again broke the girls' hearts.

Dahyun walked over to her and hugged her from behind, wrapping her arms around MIna's neck as she put her chin on her shoulder and tried to comfort her friend.

Mina started to sob, her heart aching so intensely.

It hurt so much.

"I just want her back." Mina cried. "It's so unfair. Why would someone be so careless? They took everything away from me. I hate them!"

"I know," Chaeyoung said as she joined in on the hug.

The other girls followed and tried to hug Mina tightly and comfortingly.

"I miss her so much." Mina sniffled.

Jihyo and Sana blinked away their tears while Nayeon and Tzuyu just let them fall and the other girls just squeezed Mina tight and tried to whisper comforting words to her.

"She should be here with us right now. She should be eating breakfast and I should be holding her hand and hearing her laugh and telling her how much I love her." Mina sobbed. "God, I love her so much."

"We know you did. We love her too."

They refused to use love in the past tense because, even though you're not here, they still love you so much.

That will never go away.

"In a few days, they're going to have her funeral. How am I going to do it? To see the love of my life in a casket? people setting flowers on it and telling her they'll miss her. They might want me to make a speech and I just can't do it."

By now, the other girls were crying too, unable to hold back from the ache in their hearts as well as seeing Mina in so much pain.

"She was the best thing to ever happen to me." Mina sniffled. "I'm never going to love someone else that way. It's never going to get better. There's no point in anything anymore without her."

Jeongyeon took a deep breath before she spoke.

"I know it's hard right now but it will get easier."

Mina shook her head as she continued to cry.

"It will. Because we're here with you and you have so many people who love and care about you."

"Mina, she's always going to be with you," Nayeon promised. "She'll always be safe in our hearts. She will live on forever that way."

Mina could hardly breathe, so torn apart and so broken.

"I sleep with her shirt every night. I try to think of how warm and loving she was. I try to remember her laugh and I keep looking back at all the pictures and videos we took together. But she should still be here now."

"I know," Jihyo said. "She should be and that person that took her away from us will pay for this. They were drunk and their carelessness is going to cost them big time. They'll regret this forever and they should because they took someone so loving and so irreplaceable away from all of us."

Mina nodded in agreement.

"It's okay if you don't heal from this for years from now. It's okay if your heart still hurts until you're fifty. We'll still be here to dry your tears and tell you that we love you and we're not going anywhere." Momo promised.

"It's going to be okay, Mina. Just think that she's in a better place now and she's watching over us, smiling down on us and I can promise you that she loves you just as much now as she did when she was here with us." Tzuyu said.

"You think so?" Mina sniffled.

"Yeah," Dahyun said with a small smile.

Mina continued to cry as she held onto the girls tightly.

"We've got you, Mina. Everything's going to be okay eventually, even though it doesn't seem like it now." Chaeyoung spoke.

"You'll come to the funeral, right?" Mina asked.

"Of course we will. For you and for Y/N." Jeongyeon promised.

"We love you so much," Sana said quietly as she and the girls continued to hug Mina and bring her as much comfort as they could, swearing that they'd never let her go and never let her go through this and whatever's to come on her own.
