"Y/N, we know that you're not okay. Will you please talk to us?" Sana pleaded as she and the girls watched you writhe around on the couch in the dressing room from the intense pain you were in.
Tonight is the very first show outside of South Korea on the newest tour and while you should be so excited for all of the adventures ahead with your closest friends, you can't focus on any of that because you're in excruciating pain.
You felt it when you first awoke a few hours ago but brushed it off as cramps.
But now, it's so much worse than even the worst cramps you've ever had and you can barely tolerate the pain though you're trying so hard to get through it.
"Hey," Mina whispered as she gently lifted your chin with her fingers, making you look into her eyes. "You're hurting bad, we can all see it. Will you please tell us what's going on?"
Despite the agonizing pain, the nausea, and the sweat rolling down your skin, you took a deep breath and tried to pull yourself together.
"We have to do soundcheck. Come on, let's go." You said before trying to stand, only to groan from the pain.
"Don't do that. Y/N, soundcheck is the least of our worries. Look at you. You're in so much pain that you look like you might pass out!" Jeongyeon panicked.
"I think we should call an ambulance," Tzuyu suggested.
"No!" You groaned. "You can't. I'll be alright."
"You won't be alright. Be reasonable, babe," Mina spoke as she took your hand into hers.
"What's going on? Tell us what you're experiencing." Jihyo pleaded.
You took in a shaky breath and sank your teeth into your lip as the pain worsened even more.
"There's a pain in the right side of my stomach. It was in a different spot earlier but I thought it was just cramps. But it's gotten so much worse. It's not cramps."
"Any other symptoms?" Momo wondered.
"I'm nauseous. To the point where I think I might be sick soon. And the pain is even worse if I cough or I try to stand or even if I move in the slightest." You confessed.
Dahyun and Chaeyoung were looking your symptoms up which is something they'd usually never do but they just wanted to see if anything serious came up.
And one thing caught their eyes.
"It could be appendicitis," Dahyun said.
You groaned and leaned against Mina as the pain continued to be so agonizing.
"I'm calling an ambulance," Nayeon said.
"What about the show tonight? And soundcheck?"
"None of those things matter compared to you, baby," Mina whispered to you.
The way she called you baby always makes your heart skip a beat.
She often uses the sweetest and most loving pet names for you but you've always brushed it off as a friendly thing because you two are extremely close.
But sometimes, it makes you wonder if there's something stronger between you.
"Mina?" You whispered and she brushed a lock of hair behind your ear with a delicate smile.
"Yes?"
"Will you come with me? I know there's still soundcheck and everything to do but I don't want to have to go through anything that might happen alone."
"You know I will. I'll be right there." Mina spoke softly before she began to rub your back as you took a few deep breaths.
You still felt so sick to your stomach and the pain just wasn't letting up at all, it just kept getting worse.
"The ambulance will be here in a few minutes," Nayeon said.
"I'm scared. What if it's something serious? What about the tour?"
"Y/N, nothing is more important than your health. If you have to take a few days to rest, we can get through it. You have to focus on yourself." Chaeyoung said.
"And you don't need to be scared. We're all here for you." Sana assured as she came over and squeezed your shoulder.
The girls all tried to comfort you and calm your mind until the ambulance finally showed up a few minutes later.
They loaded you on the stretcher as the girls watched anxiously.
Although they tried to stay positive and strong for you, they understandably worried very much for you and they just didn't know how to handle it.
"Mina," Momo said as she tapped Mina's shoulder. "Keep us updated."
"I will, I promise," Mina said before following you and the paramedics out to the ambulance.
Once you were loaded in the back of it, they sped off as Mina held your hand tightly.
"Don't worry," Mina whispered as she noticed how incredibly anxious you were. "I'm here and I won't leave your side. I promise."
