"Mina? I really need to talk to you." You said as you walked out of the bathroom.

Mina was sitting on the bed scrolling through her phone but she instantly put it down for you.

"What is it, baby?" She asked and immediately, she saw the look of worry in your eyes. "What's the matter?"

"I just found something out..." You said as you nervously played with your fingers.

Seeing that something wasn't quite right, she took your hand into hers and sat up in bed.

"What?"

You couldn't bring yourself to say the words.

So you handed over what was behind your back and watched her take it into her hand.

Her eyes went wide and a gasp left her lips.

You and Mina have been trying for a baby again.

It was something that finally felt right after a few months of grieving from the loss and pain of losing your last baby.

Your hearts had healed for the most part, though you still felt the emptiness a little.

However, though this was a possibility as you were going through IVF once again, the fear is starting to set in.

"You're pregnant again?"

You nodded.

"That's... wow, baby girl, that's amazing!"

"It is?"

"Yeah." She said before frowning. "Baby... are you not happy? I thought we were ready to try for another baby."

"We were and I am happy. Truly, I am. I'm just scared. I didn't realize how scary it would be. I'm anxious that it might happen again."

"Hey..." She spoke softly as she squeezed your hand. "That's normal. Truthfully, I'm anxious too. What happened took a huge toll on us and it wasn't easy to go through. But everything's going to be fine."

"You know that for sure?" You nervously asked.

"Of course I don't. Baby, we can't know for sure. But we can keep faith and stay positive. And even though we can't know for sure, I have a feeling that this is going to be different. I think our angel up there is going to make sure that this happens for us."

You smiled a little.

"Everything's going to be okay. I need you to stay positive and strong for me, okay? Because we're having a baby."

"We are." You said as you started to tear up. "We're having a baby, Mina."

She pulled you into her arms and held you close.

"I'm so ready for this. We're going to be okay and soon, we're going to have a sweet, precious little one. They'll be our little angel, our rainbow baby." She smiled as she put her forehead on yours and placed her hand on your stomach.

"I love you and can't wait to embark on this journey with you."

"Me too, my love. I love you more and I love our baby so much already." She said as she kissed your forehead.

She rubbed your stomach and sniffled as tears filled her eyes.

You just hoped that things would be different this time and that you and Mina would finally have your little angel at last.
