Things to work on:

Here's everybody's least favorite part, right? Unfortunately, if I did not have this section, I would be unable to call this an "honest" book of reviews and advice! So here are the things which @Bulldog2003 might want to work on: 1.) your grammar is great, however, you tend to start many sentences off with a lowercase letter. Just remember to capitalize it. 2.) At the beginning, you tended to switch between past and current point of view. Which is very easy to slip into! I do that all the time! But it is something you can fix with a little bit of work. 3.) Certain scenes might need a little assistance to make them more understandable. I think I left some suggestions in the comments section. 4.) Some reactions were a little overly-dramatic, but with a little coaching, they'll be fine!

Things I enjoyed:

Now here's the fun part! The author had short chapters which helped the book fly by! It was very easy to read! The ideas were original and intriguing. Fans of the Percy Jackson and Harry Potter books will find this an interesting book! @Bulldog2003 ended each chapter with a hook that created wonder. She also had some really great descriptions thrown in there as well. There are good strong characters with good personalities. Overall, the story is worth a read. Go check it out!
