Greetings, Ink Jars, Professor Lewis here. This is much better being more regular. I like it.
So, welcome to PART TWO! It most likely won't be as long as the last, but here we go.
One thing to think about in writing fantasy is: Do you want deities. This is actually really huge! Putting religion into you books is a gigantic undertaking. Have you ever created a religion? I have. I had to for a short story. If you're interested in doing so, here are a couple things you'll need to know:
a.) Afterlife? What happens to people when they die? Who goes where? Is there anything after life? Is there a heaven and a hell? What are they and who decides who goes where?
b.) Are there many deities or just one main one? How much power do these deities actually have?
c.) What is this religion's explanation for sin? And gaining salvation? Must you?
d.) What is your world's creation story?
Another thing to consider is prejudice and racism. Do you even want to go here? These can be difficult subjects to stray into just like religion is. To be realistic though, they probably exist. So do any of your races despise each other? Why? How?
HISTORY! This is another HUGE one! Every country has history! In fact, every person has history. It affects everything they do, every decision they make and word they say. It's important to know the history for your countries.
Geography: This is dwelt on heavily in World Building.
So these were just a few more pieces to wrap up loose ends. Most of them, I believe I mentioned in World Building, but I cannot be certain unless I look back. Sorry for the repeat if so.
If you have any more questions or ideas, let me know! Of course, I didn't get too much into plotting and building a fantasy story, but I think the points I provided shall give you an excellent start. So, go write your fantasy! You're an expert now!
Your faithful writer, Lewis E.P.
