Make It Stop [Young!Niragi x Reader]

I dragged myself out of bed and rubbed my eyes. I'm so tired. I want to stay at home like always but I should probably see what happens today. It won't be bad, will it? I've only been at this school for two months now and I still barely fit in. The only real friend that I have is Niragi. Even so, I don't know if friend is the right word. Acquaintance would be more appropriate. I see him during classes and when I'm walking home but that's it. I'm not even that familiar with him yet. School, it is!

School wasn't too far from my house so I decided to walk to school. I walked down the path, humming a song that matched the beat of my footsteps. When I eventually got to school, I was 20 minutes early so I said, "why not? I'm gonna find Niragi."
I ventured around the school in an attempt to find my only acquaintance but I had no luck.
"Please... don't hurt me..." a shaky, slightly recognisable voice begged.
"Shit..." I whispered as I walked around the corner to thr back of the school to see a bunch of boys hurting someone.

I peeked my head around the corner, trying to hide myself as best as I can.
Laughs erupted from the mouths of all the boys apart from one. I squinted at the boy until I figured out who it was. Niragi. I didn't recognise him at first because of all the blood on his face.
"Help!" Niragi yelled.
"No one's gonna help your stupid ass. No one cares about you!" One of the boys teased him.
I have to do something. I have to help him. I built up the courage to sneak up behind the bullies and scare them.

I crept up to the group and saw Niragi. I crouched behind everyone. Before they could try to hurt Niragi again, I kicked two of the boys' legs causing them to fall to the ground.
"Well, I guess you can call me 'no one'!" I smirked at the boys on the ground.
I held tightly onto Niragi's arm and tried to pull him away but the others did the same. Eventually, we were safe.
"Niragi... are you alright?" I asked with a concerned smile.
"Ha, not really," he smiled back.
"Seems like I put them in their place," I smiled.

I grabbed a packet of tissues from my school bag and cleaned up the wounds on his face.
"Is this okay? It might sting a little but you should be fine. You're pretty strong to have handled all of that and still make it out alive," I told him. "You survived and came out stronger than before. That's all that matters."
"Thank... you." Niragi looked into my eyes and for a split second, I saw hope in his eyes.
I just smiled at him and started to bandage the wounds.
"Those kids really suck. They are truly worthless," I mentioned.
