niragi's pov

"You can go." I said to the men after they strapped Arisu down. The moment they left the door, I took the tape off and all the other things. He looked at me in surprise but I stayed quiet.

"Wait, why?" Arisu asked 

"You should thank Kurima, but you'll have to stay here. Or you'll get killed for escaping, understood?" I said and he nodded his head. 

I left the room and locked the door.

kurima's pov

I felt all flustered after that kiss. We decided to proceed our original plan, without Arisu and Usagi for their safety. After all what happened earlier, it made sense to do this decision. Arisu and Usagi would definitely despise the moment they see me, after I didn't do a single thing there in the room. I feel so bad, but I had to stay there in my place. So people wouldn't suspect anything from me.

"How are things on your side?" I heard Chishiya say to Kuina over the walkie-talkie.

"Aguni is still in his room. I'm so bored now" Kuina said

"Let's just do the next step already." I said

"Alright." Chishiya said. 

Chishiya proceeded to tell Kuina everything, like the deer. Chishiya was also going to the deer painting, to see if the vault was really behind it.

"Found it." Chishiya said

"Seriously?" I said

"So you used him for this?" Kuina asked

"To gain something, you need to lose something." Chishiya said

"It still feels a bit wrong tho." I said

"Agree." Kuina said

"Things like this happens often, don't they?" Chishiya said

"No, not at all. I really don't want to be your enemy." Kuina said

"People often tell me that." Chishiya said

After that whole talk, I noticed a few militants and a screaming Usagi. I noticed they were grabbing Usagi towards a hotel room.

"Stop right there!" I said and they all looked at me

"Let her go." I said

"But she broke the rule, she betrayed us. She got to pay for it, boss." A woman said

"By raping her?" I asked furious

"Niragi said we could do everything we wanted." One of the men said

"Well i'm his boss, i'm the boss of the beach. If you don't let her go, i'll kill you all. And i'll say to everyone to the beach that you all were traitors. That's how easy I could cover the murders, just because i'm the boss. They'll believe me, of course they'll believe me." I said and they looked frightened. They dropped Usagi on the floor and they walked away. I walked over to her and helped her get up.

"I'm so sorry Usagi." I said

"Why didn't you say anything in the room earlier." Usagi said with a look of betrayal in her eyes

"I just couldn't, i'm sorry." I said

"I'm gonna find Arisu." Usagi said

"Do you want me to help?" I asked

"No." she said and left

I felt guilt all over my body, but I knew it was the best thing to do for myself and the others. I walked outside to Kuina and Chishiya, to finally get out of this place.
