Aquatic duet

—So... Will you join the club? –Yuu commented.

—Oh, well, yes. –I said, scratching the back of my neck. –After all, in a club like this I could read manga without any problem. –I thought to myself, looking around the room again.

—Great! –Exclaimed the blue-stranded one. –Come on, to make it official you just have to fill out a form and give it to your tutor. Here. –He said as he pulled out a folder from one of the shelves and took a piece of paper from it, which he then handed to me.

—Okay. –I looked at the contents of the sheet. –It doesn't matter if I fill it out at home and give it to my teacher tomorrow, does it? –I asked him when I saw some personal information that I was "supposed" to know, like the place where I was born. –It's just that I recently moved and I don't want to put things that are wrong. –I lied a bit nervously.

—Oh, yes. No problem, as long as you give it to him, it's all perfect. –With a smile, the boy answered simply.

—By the way, how many members does the club have? –I asked, looking again at the sheet of paper he had given me.

—Ah, well, this... –He began to stutter nervously. –One... –At this point, his voice was almost inaudible.

—What? –I say, interrupting his murmuring.

—One... –He whispered again. –One. –He said this time with a more acceptable volume. –But with you there will be two of us! –He exclaimed, changing his mood.

—I've already lost the bet... –I cried internally knowing that I had already lost the bet.

—Don't worry, you have nothing to worry about. I'll get more people to join the club, I assure you! –Seeing how discouraged I was, he promised with great energy.

—I lost, definitely. –But even if I could assure myself of that, I was more than convinced that by tomorrow I wouldn't be able to make friends with anyone else. –Well, then there's nothing more to do. See you tomorrow Sugimoto. –I said goodbye to the boy and then left the building.

On my way home, passing close to the sea, I stood on a railing that separated the water from the land. It had been a few days since I had taken the time to appreciate the view I had of the beach, nor the time to relax. Knowing that soon I would be blind, not knowing what secrets might be hidden from me or what would happen to the people around me.
And, now that I could, the sight of the blue sea did nothing but relax me. Or at least, until the book I was supposed to look for in the library crossed my mind. A book that in the end I didn't look for because I completely forgot about it.

—Shit, the book. –I curse startled.

But before I could retrace my steps and fetch the book, a strong gale arose, tossing me over the railing into the salt water. And as I plunged into it, my coppery hair turned blond, and my legs transformed into a fin.
It was only when I returned to the surface that I could see the person who attacked me. And it was none other than Sonata, the bird woman who appeared next to Fuku.

—But look what I just caught... a cute little pink sardine. How adorable. –Standing on top of the metal railing, with her wings outstretched (located in the lower back), her dark, low-cut dress swayed slightly in the sea breeze.

—You again... –I clicked my tongue as I realized I had fallen into his trap.

—Yes, me again. And this time I'll be the one starring in the first act. Or well, the only one. –He said and then began to laugh, at the same time that music began to play in the place.

—Aaaah! –I screamed in pain as I listened to her sing. –How can a song hurt so much? She
doesn't even sing badly! –I thought writhing in pain not knowing exactly what to do.

By the time she finished her song, whatever energy I had was completely gone from my body. And before I knew it, a sphere of air had pulled me out of the water and was holding me suspended in mid-air.
Almost on the verge of unconsciousness, I could glimpse her gaze fixed on me, smiling at me as if she had won the game. Although, that's what she had done, because this time I had lost.

—Hey, big ugly bird. Leave my friend alone. I'm the only one who can fuck her up! –In the distance I could hear Kairi's voice.

—What? –But before she could react, the redhead had thrown a rock at her head, throwing her off balance.

—That's what you get for messing with the wrong person! –She exclaimed with superiority as she watched the woman fall to the ground disoriented, while the air around me disappeared and my body was back in the water. –So, Y/N, ready for a duet? –She asked, looking at me with a side-to-side smile.

—Always. –I answered, now fully conscious.

—Prism pearl voice! Ocean pearl voice! –We said at the same time.

After our words, a light enveloped us completely, giving way to our idol form. And for the first time, standing next to her, I could see Kairi's full appearance in this transformation.
Her hair was still wavy, but longer and blue, with pearl decorations in it. Adding to it the beautiful tight dress she was wearing, of a navy blue. With gloves (not as long as mine) similar to Rina's and with pearl straps hanging on her shoulders, she remarked the favoritism for pearls in her design.

—Pichi pichi voice, live start! –We added in sync before a new melody began to play.

—Love shower pitch! How about an encore? –We asked when we finished our duet.

—No! Not again! –Shrieked the brunette in front of us, with her hands on her head, trying to pacify the pain she was in. –Rest assured that this will not stand. You may have won this battle, but the war has just begun. –She finished and then disappeared like last time.
