Chapter 12
Matt was the first to wake up. He was lying on a soft bed of shirts and coats from the Tillamook Cheese Factory Gift Shop. He slowly got up to see Destiny settling Tyrone on another pile of shirts and coats. Bon-Bon was by her side, helping her out as well. He then turned and walked towards Matt.
"Bon-Bon." he said.
"Who are you?" asked Matt nervously.
"His name is Bon-Bon. Apparently, he's a sword warrior." said a voice.
Matt jumped up and so did Destiny. Out of the shadows came a sinister shadow.
"Grelle!" cried Matt.
"At ease boy. I'm a Mothman." said the shadow. Slowly, the shadow took form and Matt and Destiny saw that it was a man. A young man, in his early twenties perhaps, wearing black armor and his face was almost covered by the thorns popping out of his suit.
"Who are you?" asked Destiny, putting her fists up in the air and Matt running behind her. Bon-Bon however was relaxed and yawned. He walked up to the armored Mothman and he said his name a couple of times, like a Pokemon.
"Bon-Bon. Bon-Bon, Bon-Bon... Bon-Bon."
"I see." said the Mothman.
"You understand him?" asked Matt.
"His name is Bon-Bon. He is a Sword Warrior from Rood Bridge Park. He has been sent here to find Gannon and Garret and bring them home to their mother because she is worried." said the Mothman.
"Sword Warrior? This dog?" asked Tyrone, who was starting to slowly wake up.
"Tyrone! I'm so sorry! I was under some spell and I attacked you and I... I'm so sorry man!" cried Matt. He ran to Tyrone and hugged him. Of course, they both fell backwards into the coats and shirts.
"We were attacked by a Grim Reaper and the woman! Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about! It seems to me you came here because of the same reason. My friends here are in danger and I won't let nothing hurt them. So you better talk honestly with us because if you don't, you'll be sorry!" said Destiny firmly and angrily to the Mothman.
"I am Uriel. Mothman of Tillamook. And yes, I felt the unholy presence of those two here. I came to see what was going on. Imagine my surprise seeing three humans here, surrounded by Rood Bridge Park forces and Bon-Bon here." said Uriel.
"Bon-Bon, Bon." said Bon-Bon.
"Yes, Bon-Bon is right. I do owe you all an apology and perhaps a helping hand for your journey. You three are going to stop the Eternal Winter." said Uriel.
"We are going to try. Our parents are from Rood Bridge Park. They have the power to stop the curse. But they have been gone a long time and we know something has happened. In fact, Gannon and Garret are with them." said Tyrone.
Bon-Bon turned to Tyrone and walked up to him. "Bon-Bon Bon-Bon?" he asked.
"Uh... if you're asking if we have seen them, yes. They are with my family. And we are looking for them." said Tyrone.
Bon-Bon grunted with relief, as if he knew he was now on the right track.
"Grelle and this woman, Violet. They don't have nothing to do with one another, but they have one thing in common. They cross paths with you three. You are not prepared to face the Eternal Winter." said Uriel.
"Which is why we have to save our family! They have the power!" cried Matt.
"Do you know where they are? Tyrone and Matt have told me about the powers you Mothpeople have. Or something like that. You can see visions! If you know something, tell us now." said Destiny, almost wanting to stomp her foot on the ground.
"My visions don't work like that. However, I can help you get on the right path." Uriel then pulled something from a satchel on the side of his hip and presented it to Destiny.
She grabbed what appeared to be a map. Uriel turned around and put his hand on the wall. Suddenly, floating lights appeared all over the room.
"What you have before you is a map of the hidden passageways that can help you on your journey to Mt.Hood. Where you will break the curse with the help of the Bogey Man and his wife. These passageways have been kept secret even from people in Rood Bridge Park. The only ones who have access to this information are the Sword Warriors. You will be safe from Grelle and Violet." said Uriel.
"Will we find Sam and Natalie?" asked Matt.
"They have used the passageways. However, they DID run into something. I saw it in one vision only. Something stops them on their tracks. You four will need to be as quiet as mice to save them in the passageways." said Uriel.
"I knew they were in trouble!" cried Matt.
"We need to go right away!" cried Tyrone.
"But what about weapons? Are we facing a monster or something like that?" asked Destiny.
"I do not know what you will face. But Bon-Bon here will protect you three. He's a trained professional Sword Warrior." said Uriel.
Bon-Bon growled in anticipation and nodded with a salute.
"He's kinda cute." said Matt, trying to pet Bon-Bon. Of course, he then tried to bite Matt's hand, but Matt flinched just in time before Bon-Bon snapped his jaw.
"Then, we'll be going now." said Tyrone.
Matt called for Bubbles and he appeared before them. After he grew into size, everyone got on. Uriel was watching, with his arms folded.
"Is it true then? Are you the chosen ones?" he asked.
"Chosen ones?" asked Destiny.
"To defeat Viscount Bryan. Are you the chosen ones of the prophecy? The ones destined for the final battle against good and evil?" said Uriel.
Tyrone and Matt didn't answer. They somewhat heard about it through the Mothman, or was it Sam himself? They heard about it somewhere, but they didn't remember where. They stood quiet for a while until Uriel broke the silence.
"Good luck out there you four." said Uriel.
And with that, Bubbles then started to walk and everyone left the factory. Uriel watched from afar as the hermit crab vanished. Uriel breathed in deeply and wondered for a bit. Where they the children from the prophecy? Were they truly?
