Chapter 25

The falls were starting to rise up into the heavens. Natalie's body began to form and she landed on a rock. Sam was waiting for her there; for he ran to her and hugged her immensely.

"Oh Sam! I couldn't do it! I lost the fight!" she cried.

"You didn't lose anything. You weakened the darkness. For now, we are safe." said Sam.

"But the Dark Impulse is stronger than before. Mt. Hood could be crawling with monsters." said Natalie sobbing.

"I lured them away with my own Dark Impulse. For now, you and I are safe. And right now, I need you to sit down and relax." said Sam. The couple sat down on the rock while the waterfall was still rising up.

"What's this?" Natalie asked bewildered.

"It's a side effect of your fight against the darkness. Love was going to win and this waterfall symbolizes love." said Sam.

Natalie felt her skin shiver and she looked straight ahead. A dark creature was taking form. A large monster with horns and large wings appeared before them. It was big, black, with two piercing yellow eyes, with the face of a goat with sharp teeth and the body of a dragon. It was a Jersey Devil, growling with saliva dripping from its unnatural face. Its body looked organic, yet there was smoke coming out of it. Of course, this was a shadow, but it was still a Jersey Devil.

The young couple stood up. Natalie formed an green orb in her hands with rose petals surrounding it. Sam stood up, his eyes glowing yellow, and his hands formed black orbs.

"Do you think your Dark Impulse will hurt this thing?" asked Natalie.

"Yes. My Dark Impulse is powered by love, not hate." said Sam.

"If anything happens, you must know that I will forever love you. Even beyond death, my heart will always belong to you." said Natalie.

"Shouldn't it be me saying this to you? I too will love you, until I die and my corpse rots in the Earth." said Sam.

"Such a romantic." said Natalie with a small smile.

The couple even chuckled for a bit, yet they stood their ground. The Jersey Devil walked slowly around, not taking its eyes off of them. It then roared.

"Now." said Sam.

Natalie threw the glowing orb first and large vines of a blackberry bush emerged from the ground, surrounding the Jersey Devil. The creature roared as the thorns hurt it's hide. Sam threw two of the dark orbs at its face. And with that, Sam and Natalie attacked some more.

Sam hid within the shadows, throwing dark orbs out of nowhere, hurting the beast. Natalie on the other hand used both of her hands to grow deadly plants around the area, also affecting the monster. She grew spiky vines, grew poisonous mushrooms and she even grew large venus fly traps that took a bit of the Jersey Devil. Of course, the creature mauled the plants and ran around the area, hoping to attack Natalie. But Sam appeared and charged against the beast with his powers.

Eventually, Sam got on top of the Jersey Devil, and grabbed its neck, trying to break it. Natalie joined in and used vines as a rope. She tied it around the Jersey Devil's neck and tightened it. Both Sam and Natalie were strangling the beast until it finally collapsed and died. Within seconds, the darkness around the creature evaporated and the body vanished.

"We're sitting ducks here. We have to fight." said Natalie.

"Yes. Perhaps there is still hope in destroying this curse." said Sam.

..........................................................

Tyrone, Matt, Destiny, and Bon-Bon were on top of Bubbles and he was running in the darkness of the forest. The sky was clear, and snow was still falling, yet the forest was shrouded in darkness. And monsters were jumping out to kill them. Monsters that resembled zombies, animal corpses, insects, and velociraptors.

Bubbles kicked a few while running and Bon-Bon and Destiny were using their swords while Tyrone and Matt were on the defensive.

They were fighting and running for their lives when at long last they arrived at an open clearing with snow. And standing there, with floating boxes in the air was none other than Violet herself. She was wearing a long black dress and her purple hair was much darker than before. The black boxes that were floating into the sky were coffins, floating about. There were about a thousand of them up in the sky.

Destiny got off Bubbles and ran towards Violet angrily. "You bitch!" she cried. She then swung her sword and Violet protected herself with a force field of Dark Impulse surrounding her.

"Make one move against me, and I will drop those coffins. You will have those children's deaths on your conscience!" said Violet.

"Puta!" cried Matt angrily.

"Matt!" screamed Tyrone.

"You're not the boss of me!" cried Matt. Suddenly, Matt was then pulled from thin air and right into Violet's grasp.

"My what a handsome little boy you have here. So cute, so masculine. No longer a little boy, but not yet a man. Your youth is so intoxicating." said Violet as she licked Matt's face with her long black snake like tongue. Matt closed his eyes and tried not to sob.

"Let the children go!" cried Bon-Bon, walking up towards Violet.

"Oh look, it's a cute little puppy." sneered Violet. She then dropped Matt on the ground and she walked towards a chair she made out of snow.

"Tonight, I will have those children feed my youth. I will live for another thousand years and the Eternal Winter Curse will be used to my favor." said Violet.

Suddenly, something hit's Violet on the side of her and she falls to the ground. Tyrone turns around and sees Sam and Natalie arrive, with orbs in their hands.

"Mom! Dad!" cried Matt.

Violet stands up and raises her hands up into the air. "I warned you all!" she said angrily. Suddenly, the coffins begin to fall from the sky, one by one.

"NO!" roared Sam and Natalie in unison.

"PLEASE STOP THIS!" cried Destiny.

"VIEJA!" cried Matt.

"YOU BITCH!" cried Tyrone.

Bon-Bon didn't say a word. He couldn't see what was going on, but he sniffed the air. It reeked with fear and despair.
