The headquarters resided deep into the mountains, completely outlying and rather peaceful. Though, the winter landscape and mountains are relatively cold, you felt warmed by the luminous sun and the sweetest autumn browns—each frosted with a lacy brilliant white.

You gently smiled to yourself, as you sat just outside of the headquarters. You were engulfed with serenity, as you let the natural wind whistle in your ears and the light snowflakes fall onto your clothes and hair. You laid on your back, arms spread, staring up at the cerulean sky. You weren't quite use to the fact that you were now living in the mountains, but you felt so carefree—so blissful.

Though, you were ultimately free from all of the affliction you had sustained for over a year, you couldn't help but to feel a bit uneasy. You tried remaining calm in the most subtle ways possible, as you didn't want your friends becoming apprehensive about you again—presumably they had been stressing about you for an entire year. You felt you needed to embrace your feelings, instead of drowning them out.

You had been drowning out your feelings for as long as you could remember and now that Levi came in to play, it only made matters worse. You're still on edge over the fact that if you did manage to tell everyone the truth, how would they react? You already held the biggest secret from them for so many years, but maybe this secret was worse—it felt as if you would be dropping the biggest "fuck, you" bomb on their shoulders. Hell, it already felt as if you were prioritizing Levi over them and you couldn't distinguish whether it was right or wrong.

It was frustrating, really. You didn't want to lie to your friends anymore, as it caused too much danger to even begin with, but you also didn't want to lose them—you needed them, but you also needed him too. You were infuriated with the way your heart and mind constantly contradicted each other.

You've spent the entire morning with your friends, coercing a smile in every conversation you were included in—disrelishing the self-loathing thoughts that entrenched your mind the second you knew you were still hiding secrets from them.

Eventually, you told them you wanted to take a breath of fresh air. You really needed it. You found tranquility in the wintery atmosphere—The cold moved in, indulging with the warmth of your blood. You felt the coldness wash over your skin, only to be met by the warmness of your heart.

"How are you feeling?" That familiar resonant voice questioned you from behind.

Though, you were grateful for him saving you, you couldn't forgive him for what he did to your heart—how he had it in the palm of his hand and mangled it with no effort whatsoever. It made you furious, how he even had the audacity to converse with you, as if all was forgiven.

You scowled, as he towered over your body—waiting for an answer you didn't want to give him. You closed your eyes, hoping that maybe the second you opened them—he'd disappear. Though, it didn't work, as he was being overly persistent—pestering you and trying to get your attention as much as possible. You kept your composure though and remained silent, disregarding his presence the only way you knew how to.

"Silent treatment, huh?" He muttered underneath his breath, as he kneeled down to scoop you into his arm.

You promptly became flustered, feeling his brawny arms wrapping around you again, "What are you doing!? You're kidnapping me!" You shouted, struggling to free yourself from the grip he had around you, but you couldn't, so you gave in eventually.
