Your eyes fluttered open. Your eyelids felt weighted shut, light glowing through them in a reddish-yellow assurance; thankfully, you were safe in a room. Your head was still spinning and you felt rather fatigued—you made a mental note to never drink as much as you did that night. A background noise, a soft mumbling voice intruded your ears.
You looked towards the noise, and saw Levi reading the newspaper to himself. It was clear he allowed you stay in his office again. You looked past him, your eyes resting on the window that were behind him—the halo of the horizon shone through, irradiating the entire room with golden grace. The sunrise illuminated the blue sapphire sky, as if it were igniting the most perfect flame.
You adored it, but your pounding headache heavily contradicted that. You closed your eyes, gently rubbing over your eyelids—hoping it'd alleviate the pain. You groaned to yourself, laying down and staring up at the slightly gyrating ceiling. You really were feeling like shit and you were honestly surprised that your hangover was even still in effect.
"Levi," You wearily called out. The second he heard your soft voice calling out for him, he immediately dropped his newspaper and walked over to you.
He pushed your tousled hair out of your pallid face and caressed your cheek, "You okay?" He questioned you, his voice fading in and out of your ears—though you didn't answer him right away.
You simply just stared into his silvery eyes, his pupils dilating and studying every feature on your face; your lips, your eyes, your nose, your cheeks and ears. He leaned in closer to you, making it difficult to trail his eye-movements, as his stygian hair fell directly in front of his face.
"I'm okay. I think I'm just a little thirsty," You answered softly, holding onto his wrists—you couldn't get enough of him; the way he looked at you, set your heart ablaze.
"Do you want water? Something to eat?" He questioned you, surveying your facial expressions and the way your eyes were in sync with his.
"No, just water." You answered, your heart palpitating each and every second Levi laid those slate-gray eyes onto yours. His grey eyes had a settling effect, reassuring in their reflectiveness—which you fell victim to every single time. He was mesmerizing. You softly bit down on your lip, softening your eyes as you knew that was his undefined weakness.
"Look at me," He softly ordered, moving his hands up to your chin—he caressed it, staring at your lips while doing so, which had your heart practically beating out of your damn chest.
"I am." You responded, holding onto the hand that was caressing your cheek, as you looked into his lucent eyes.
"You're going to eat, okay? You need to replenish." He whispered into your lips, before crashing into them so softly—so damn passionately. You never quite figured out if the beauty of his lips was more their softness with the words he spoke or if it was because you wanted to kiss him, but in that moment—his tepid lips sent your mind into a sensual state of intoxication, before the urge to kiss him compulsively overwhelmed you.
