𝟐. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤

10 months later, Rome

After the battle with the First, Sunnnydale ceased to exist and everyone went their separate ways.

Dawn and Buffy live in Rome. Buffy wanted a break from California and the struggle and loss that came with it. Dawn went to an Italian school. Buffy trained the vampire slayers to fight the evil and soulless vampires that were increasingly attacking cities across the US and beyond. She was assisted in this by Andrew, who became an observer under the supervision of Rupert Gilles. Buffy suffered from the loss of Spike for 4 months, until she came to the conclusion that Spike would not want she to live in memories of his loss, but to live on, find someone who would love her as she is and t would get married one day and she had children.

Willow and Kennedy settled in Brazil in Sau Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

Xander was in Africa.

In the present, Buffy and Dawn have decided to leave Rome after Dawn graduates from school. She and Dawn decided to go to New York to start all over again.

- Have you packed everything? - Buffy was rushing her.

- Yeah, I got everything - Dawn replied as she walked down the stairs.

- Are you sure you want to go there with me and not stay with Willow and Kennedy in Brazil? - Buffy asked her, wanting to know if this is what her sister really wants. Buffy wanted all the best for Dawn after all, she only had a sister. Their father lost interest in them and had a new family, and their mother died.

- I'm sure - Dawn replied.

At that moment, a taxi arrived to take them to the airport. The taxi driver packed their bags and drove Buffy and Dawn to the designated place. The girls waited for their plane until they had checked in their ticket and baggage and went through security while waiting to board the plane. When they heard the name New York, they boarded the plane and knowing it was going to be a long journey, Dawn decided to sleep. She fell asleep quickly, Buffy looked at her sister with a smile as she slept.
