𝟒𝟑. 𝐁𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡

After leaving the institute, Buffy returned home. The blonde girl entered her room and closed the door behind her. She immediately got into bed and went to sleep. She had to rest for the child that was growing inside her and avoid stress for the health of her child, who was her only love, after the loss of her beloved.

The blonde girl was tired of recent events - the thing with Alec and Michael, who turned out to be Valentine and Jace's father, and the pregnancy, which was tiring her and enjoying it at the same time. However, the thought of Alec's wedding to Lydia hurt her and she was afraid of confronting him and Lydia after they hurt her, so she avoid talking to them.

The blonde girl was sleeping peacefully until the phone that rang woke her up. The sleepy blonde blinked a few times to get used to the light streaming in through her window. When she got used to the world, she got up and took the phone in her hand. Buffy declined the call and saw 10 missed calls from Alec, whom she had no intention of talking to.

But to make him stop calling, Buffy decided to call him.

- What do you want Alec?

- I want to talk to you and clear things up with Lydia

- There's nothing to explain here, Alec. You've already made your choice and decided to choose Lydia and propose to her because you wanted to clear the Lightwood name. You hurt me with this choice, but I will survive and go on living without you

- Listen to me Buffy. I don't want any awkwardness between us, and you hating me. Just give me a chance

- No Alec, I won't give you another chance, because you don't deserve it and we can't be together, because soon you will marry Lydia and she will become your wife, and I'm not going to be your lover, because it's humiliating and I won't humiliate myself to that

Furious, she ended the call.

After she finished talking to him on the phone, she felt like she needed to talk to someone. Yesterday she got word that Faith was in New York, so she wanted to meet her and spend time to forget about her problems.

She texted Faith and arranged to meet her in half an hour at Magnus's where she was staying. Buffy knew that Faith and Magnus had feelings for each other, but they didn't say it out loud.

Then she got a text from Jace, who was worried about Buffy.
