𝟒𝟔. 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐲'𝐬

After visiting Ragnor Fell's house, Jace, Buffy and Clary returned to the institute and made their way to the long corridor when Izzy approached them because she had some business for Jace.

- Jace, you're going to Alec's bachelor party, right? - Izzy asked Jace.

- Then maybe I'll go back to my house and go to sleep - Buffy suggested as she was about to leave the institute.

- Wait, Buffy. Don't go home yet, because we haven't finished the task and we need to find the mole at the institute - Jace called the blonde softly.

- Okay - Buffy said reluctantly and walked into the training room with Izzy and Clary.

- Izzy, we have a mole at the institute. We were attacked by the Shax demon when we went to Ragnor. The attack could not have been accidental. Valentine must have been following us - Izzy informed in a hushed voice.

- You think someone at the institute told Valentine where you were going? - Izzy asked quietly.

- Izzy has no other explanation - Clary replied.

- Nobody here would betray us like that. This is our family - Izzy stated.

- Not everyone here is family - Buffy said, and as she looked out of the training room, she looked at Lydia, who she thought was the mole at the institute.

Shadowhunters looked at Buffy.

- I swear to God, if Lydia is... - Jace started to say, but Clary cut him off.

- Slow down. We don't know if she did anything anymore - Clary said.

- And it's dangerous to inappropriately accuse someone of a crime. Trust me, I've been through it - Izzy warned Jace.

- Lydia was there when we talked about Ragnor Fell. If she's not going to admit what she's done, I'll make her admit it. - Jace hissed furiously as he started to walk away.

- Jace, stop it. You're too busy to talk to anyone right now. You might get in trouble with the Clave and Lydia, and it's not worth doing - Buffy said and stopped Jace from doing anything stupid.

- Especially since he's an important envoy from the Clave,- Izzy added.
