After Buffy came home with Dawn. She immediately went to her room and closed the door behind her so that no one would hear her crying after the betrayal of Alec.

The blonde girl never expected to be betrayed by the most honest man she knew. There was no indication that he would cheat on her, because they were a happy couple without any quarrels or jealousies. They loved and respected each other, but Alec chose to destroy that relationship by lying about something as important as proposing to someone and not telling the girl he supposedly loved. The blonde girl walked over to the bed and laid down on it. She tried to hold back the tears, but she couldn't because the tears kept flowing down her face. The girl wept and suffered. After some time, the blonde girl heard a knock on the door, so she tried not to cry as she went to the door and opened it. When she opened them, she saw Jace.

Buffy didn't know how he got her address and what he wanted.

- Buffy, I'm so sorry for what Alec did and how he treated you. He acted like he wasn't, but I don't want to make excuses because he's my parabatai - Jace started, but Buffy cut him off.

- I don't want to hear about him because he's an asshole and he did something I didn't expect him to do - Buffy said and threw herself into Jace's arms, crying into his shoulder.

- Relax Buffy, everything will be fine - He said and tried to console the blonde girl.

- No, because I will never run away from him, because I will always be connected to him to some extent - She said sobbing.

- What do you mean? - Jace asked her as he still held her in his embrace.

- I need to shower and change - Buffy said, and went to the closet to pull out a white tank top, black shorts and jacket, and black high heels.

The girl went to the bathroom and took a shower, put on new makeup because the old one was smudged from crying, changed into new clothes and fixed her hair. When she was ready, she left the bathroom, where Jace was waiting for her in the room, who was talking to someone on the phone and when he saw that Buffy had come out of the bathroom, he ended the conversation.
