𝟒𝟕. 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐜'𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠

After talking to Clary, Buffy decided to talk to Lydia. She walked through the corridors of the institute until she stopped in front of a closed door. She knocked on the door.

- Come in! - Lydia shouted from the other side of the door. Buffy entered Lydia's room.

- Buffy? - Lydia asked, shocked to see Buffy.

- Yes, it's me. You look amazing, Lydia - Buffy said.

- You too. I didn't know you were pregnant - Lydia stated as she stared at the pregnant blonde girl. - So what brings you here to me?

- That's what happened. Lydia, I wanted to apologize to you for my behavior earlier. I was cold to you, and it was no fault of yours. I'm asking you to treat Alec well and do everything you can to make him happy. I know I shouldn't ask you this please, but even though things are tense between me and him, I want him to be happy because he deserves it - Buffy replied.

- I promise you that I will do everything to make him happy - Lydia said with a smile.

- Thank you - She thanked Buffy and left Lydia alone.

When Buffy and Magnus entered the hall where the wedding was to take place. The blonde girl saw Alec. All the guests took their seats and he stood at the altar with Jace by his side.

The black-haired man looked at her and Magnus, he looked at the blonde's girl belly in shock. He didn't know what to think about Buffy's pregnancy, but he ignored it for now.

The blonde girl ignored him too and took a seat in the front row between Clary and Magnus. She hadn't expected that seeing Alec at the altar would cause her such pain. Buffy put her hand on her slightly visible belly to calm herself down.

Then the silent brother caught everyone's attention when he slammed his cane on the ground and the loud sound echoed around the room.

- Attention everyone, the ceremony is about to begin - cCalled the silent brother, and everyone standing took their places. Buffy grabbed Magnus' hand as she took a deep breath.

The room fell silent as all the guests turned to see Izzy walking towards the altar with the supplies for Alec and Lydia's wedding.

Izzy looked beautiful.

When Izzy reached the aisle, Lydia followed, a nervous smile on her face as she held the bouquet in her hands. When she arrived Alec helped her up the altar. Then they both looked into each other's eyes and without a word began the ceremony.

Lydia grabbed the pillow bracelet Izzy was holding and placed it around Alec's wrist.

The sight was painful for Buffy and she watched Alec leave her. She wanted to cry as Alec put the necklace around Lydia's neck.
