Everyone was standing in the training room waiting for Jace to arrive. Simon, Dawn, and Clary stood aside, talking in hushed tones while Buffy watched Isabelle open the gun case.

Izzy ran her hand over one of the blades as Jace came up behind her and lightly slapped her hand away. - No, Izzy.

- I don't approve of this mission - Alec said, stopping next to Buffy.- I spoke to the Clave. They said they were sending out Seelie scouts to look for Valentine, but they made it clear that the little girl wasn't leaving the premises - He said pointing to Clary's direction. - Buffy, the Clave wants to meet you, you're a legend in the supernatural world, none of the Shadowhunters have ever met a vampire slayer," he said looking at Buffy.

- How nice. Fortunately, I'm a living legend - Buffy said with a smile.

- Hey, my name's not "little girl - Clary turned to look at Alec. - I don't care what the Clave wants, I'm going to find Dot

Buffy rolled her eyes again, seeing that Clary hadn't taken the earlier conversation personally and would continue to do things her way until someone was killed by her stupidity.

- Alec, this sorcerer may have the answers we need - Jace said, pulling Alec away from Clary's glare. - While Valentine's men are looking for Clary she's not safe alone.

- Jace's right - Izzy agreed.

- Okay, now that you have all the answers, where do you want to start looking? - Alec asked, turning to Clary, who was playing with the necklace.

- We should start with Dot's apartment in Greenpoint, and there's that thrift store over there... - Clary stopped as she suddenly gasped as she got a vision.

- I think I know where Dot is - Clary said.

- Fine, I'll drive - Simon pulled out the keys and spun them around his finger.

Everyone looked at Simon who shrugged. - What? Unless you have a shadowhunter car or something - He said causing Izzy to giggle and Clary to smile slightly. Suddenly, he looked down at the floor of the training room.

- You were joking that the runes on the floor would kill me... right? - Simon asked, looking at Jace. Jace looked at Alec, who gave him a sly smile.

- Maybe - Jace said, patting Simon on the shoulder as they all followed.

- Wait am I going to die? - Simon asked as Khloe walked past Alec.

When they arrived in Simon's van, Simon was sitting in the driver's seat, Clary was sitting in the passenger seat next to Simon in the passenger door, the rest of them were sitting in the back with Buffy and Jace on the right side of the van. Jace wrapped his arms around Buffy's waist to keep her from falling while driving, smiling at her.
