"Que tonto de mi parte." I murmured to myself as I signed the papers that needed to be done for the preparation of the upcoming visit of the second family of the Cartosou overmorrow.

The Cartosou clan is categorized into four groups. The first, second, third, and fourth families. The first family is the family of the first child of the founder who was Martina and George Cartosou. The first family's representative is Adriano who is currently running the academy. He is based in Spain with his wife, Alliora.

The second is Magnus' and Mayvien's family. Their father, Mariano, the representative, will be the one visiting the school the next day tomorrow. Probably because of Mayvien.

The third is Schayna's family. Her mother, the dean is the Cartosou in blood but her father is the representative. Only men are allowed to be representatives of their families. Schayna's brother, Schein is the next in line.

The fourth is Giona, although a woman, she is an exception. She represents her own family. Why can't she when she's never even married and has no children? She doesn't even care about her clan anymore. She's living her life in Switzerland.

The Cartosou and their legacy are heard throughout the world. It's no doubt that they're showing up now to cover the mess in this school.

But I am not in the mood to think of the upcoming visit and the Cartosou now. My mind is clouded by thoughts of Diel and of what she said yesterday. I sighed.

"Fue todo una mentira?"

"You're saying something, pres?" the secretary asked me as she receives the papers I handed. She must've heard me talking to myself in Spanish. Good thing I said it in Spanish, she doesn't seem to understand that.

"It's nothing. Ihatid mo nalang ito sa acting dean para ma-approve." utos ko sa kaniya. A temporary dean acted up since our dean is still secretly mourning.

The secretary looked at me with that questioning look. Mukha ba akong baliw habang nakikipag-usap sa sarili kanina?

This is definitely Diel's fault for making me look like a madman talking to myself.

I can't believe she's hanging out with Magnus right now when she had just confessed yesterday, from what it seems to me. Tsk.

How did she even know Magnus? Have they known each other for a while? Are they friends? But I haven't seen her around him until today. Are they close? Does she like him too? What if... are they possibly dating? No, that can't be. That's not close to possible. I'm confident they're not friends either. She's only friends with Aiden and me. Then why is she with him right now?

I asked multiple questions to myself as I watched them through my window pass by my office, walking side by side, comfortably with each other.

Nakakatanga naman. Ako pa ngayon ang namomroblema na kung tutuusin ay siya naman ang nagtapat kahapon. This lady is torturing me.

I closed my eyes to vacate my mind but all I can see is her gentle face, crying as she hugged me tightly and I felt it. Peace and comfort.

I stood up and loosened the tie na pakiramdam ko ay sumikip bigla. Very well, then.

Now that the arrow tasted blood, it craves more.

The arrow is aimed. It found its direction.

"I only have one direction. Towards you."

"Chandiel" I continued walking despite being called.

Ipinagdasal kong hindi siya makita o makasalubong sa school pero heto at hinahabol na niya ako ngayon. Dumagdag pa sa alalahanin ko. Umiiwas na nga ako sa isa. Iniisip ko ngang umabsent kanina pero hindi ko tinuloy kasi baka halatang super affected ako. Mabuti nga at busy siya sa council ngayon kaya hindi siya pumasok sa klase at hindi kami nagkita pero paano ko naman sosolusyunan ang para sa training mamaya? Wala pa naman si Aiden kasi absent. Dahil na rin siguro sa nangyari kahapon. Kaya talaga mas ayaw kong tumuloy at magpakita sa practice eh. Aissh bakit ko ba kasi nasabi 'yon sa kaniya kahapon? Pahamak talaga 'tong bibig ko.
