Like stars, we were scattered across the (Earth's) vast expanse,
Each to an (unique) endeavour,
Settling in his own niche,With an ever-expanding universe
Where for shall we ever meet again
You and I and all, my brothers and I Our memories (of family & childhood) yet incompleteMy heart is loathe to this insouciant parting
But alas, fate only follows the grand scheme of all things
Divine, indifferent to the desires of mortal menIndifferent to our deepest desires and nostalgia to remain
(Together in this idyllic place and time),
Time only moves forever beyond.So for now, in my heart with these words, would my broken soul find rest:
Home is where Allah is
And together, we shall meet there once again..•••
Sequel;
Our first meeting was in pre-eternity
At the gathering of soulsOur second, in the lower world (Dunya), the (mundane) sojourn of souls
May our final meeting place be where our hearts lie
The place where we truly call home:
In (the Divine Presence of) Allah, the One Truly Beloved.—A.A.I.M.
