Truth and Falsehood

Only 'Truth' can empower the self, and lead it to inner peace, and clarity of conscience..

Whilst worry & guilt are the fate of one pursuing falsehood.

Bring to mind the hadith of Wabisah bin Ma'bad (May Allah be pleased with him) who reported:

I went to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he asked me, "Have you come to inquire about piety?"

I replied in the affirmative.

Then he said, "Ask your heart regarding it."

"Piety is that which contents the soul and comforts the heart."

"and sin is that which causes doubts and perturbs the heart,"

"even if people pronounce it lawful and give you verdicts on such matters

..again and again."

Thus is this a battle, that continues externally,

in human dealings,

Internally, in the Nafs, the Self,

till the end of time..

"Wa qul jaaa'al haqqu wa zahaqal Baatilu. Innal Baatila kaana zahuuqaa."{Al Isrā, Qur'an 17:81}

And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Lo falsehood, [by nature], is ever bound to perish."{The Night Journey: 81}

This would always be the end result and fate of the two,

Wherever the battle occurs!

A.A.I.M.

"Truth is only one,

One who lies continues to add up"
