ALLAH'S TRUST
Allah is the Essence of existence
The Light of the heavens and the earth
His love and honour He entrusted to us
Even though unworthy, He took to us
Proving to His Mala'ikah, our raison d'être.
Allah, Is the Holy King
He is adored by every star and tree
The mountains shook and trembled
As His words descended upon them
They rent asunder and humbling themselves,
With fear of Ar-Rahmân.
But man, in his pride
Accepted the trust of As-Salaam
They boasted and recited at the top of their voices
Man rejoiced and forgot the warning
Man sang and understood not the admonition.
They neither understood nor did they ask
Of the huge responsibility entrusted to them
By the Rabb of Seven Skies..
