I was broken, but I ascended

144 24 16

Frozen bones and a broken heart,
What more is needed to ascend
To the Rabb of seven skies

With no one for comfort but my very own Originator,
I knelt at His throne in secret in my heart.

The people saw me, and chided me
The lies that were spread,
fueled by my silence -
My awkward self when amidst the creation.

Defenseless, I only nodded my head,
In submission, humiliation, and a patience the world wouldn't bear.

Had they known, that whilst my physical self was in their midst,
My soul had long fled,
To refuge at His throne,
They would have spared, the breath and strength.

An empty husk, my body was,
For I had long comprehended the true secret of freedom.

Once you understand that the gardens of God and His very throne are in your heart,
And that, you could forever find a prayer niche there,
Even as you move about your daily life,
Life becomes a sideshow
Whilst you, abiding in the Divine presence
Soak with peace and nature's harmony.

Watch the world, bear every trial
With patience.

For indeed, there's no weapon to be armed with,
Than this.

Listen to His words;

Fasbir sabran jamiilaa..

So be patient with a beautiful patience...
