#freePalestine

It's been a long time since I posted. Hope you are all doing well.

We should all make tawbah as an Ummah and make lots of dua for the defenders of Al Aqsa - Palestine.

Their problem is our problem as an ummah.

Remember; the believers are but (like) a single body. If a part is hurt, then the rest of the body feels it..

An update..

I was looking for translation of Maher Zain's 'Yaa Khuda', but accidentally read a different piece, - the English version of 'Aye Khuda'. The lyrics were moving, however since they were not portraying a relationship with Allah in Islam, I decided to write my own Islamic version.

The theme is the same, but it's a completely new piece.

As to TCOTQ, I'm still trying to get out of writer's block. I've not yet given up on it.

May Allah save the ummah on all sides from being oppressed. Allahuma Aamin🤲🏾

Yaa Khuda

Now sinfulness has become a part of my nature
I'm the one fallen due to heedlessness (on my part)
Carrying within myself, a burden of so many sins
Money (seemingly) becoming my God
My self (Nafs) and desires, (I'm) thronging to.
What is this emptiness taking up space (within my heart)?

O God, I've fallen, I've fallen
When I got separated from you, I became one destroyed

O Lord, O Lord
Moments are spent now like wind
(With) me walking in the shadow of crime
Shackled to the transient nature of this life,
When will I be free, oh my Lord?

Like flowing water, You've given me all I desired, every (single) time
(And)Yet, I became a criminal under Your Leige

O my God, O my God, I've fallen
When I got separated from you, I was destroyed
I made a friend of this world
Never minding its trifling nature
Its fluid loyalty, and treacherous phases
Even whilst knowing everything would (one day) come to an end

However much we gathered,
became dust in our hands,
Drifting to the wind and eternal time past
Meanwhile the grave called (to) us,
Each by his own name
'Beware' it said, 'I'm the abode you've been born never to miss - the ultimate abode - the truth of life'

Whatever you desire shall perish
And this (fact) would never change
You shall cease to exist
Even before you got (the chance) to fulfil this heart of yours (all its wishes)

O God, I've fallen,
I was destroyed when I wandered from You
I was wrong, so (do) accept me (back),
Under Your prestigious care, under Your wing
Hold my hand and hold my head up,

Yaa Khuda, Oh my God, the Greatest
Here I stand at Your doorstep
Head lowered, eyes filled with shame
Unable to (even) petition my case,
To plead for mercy

Yaa Khuda, Oh my God, the Greatest
Make me Yours, and no one else's
Oh Light of my path, restrain the shadows
Hold my hand even (as I'm) in the abyss
Hide my sins, and shed my guilt (from me)
Show me a fate where I meet such a one
Who'll understand my love for You, and my struggle
Make my story be heard by such a heart

Make me travel the remainder of the path (to You)
With tears in my eyes and a sincere heart in repentance

O God, I had fallen,
When I got separated from you, my heart was wounded, my soul in grievous torment and remorse

Now only You, can make me whole again..
