No Matter How Dark...

Out of the darkness, we open up the doors
Striving unto our Lord,
We dare not, and do not waver
Even when our candle flickers,
On the edge of being blown out,
We'd never stop except when in His presence.

I fell to my knees, once..twice..many a time I failed to 'member
I cried my heart,
A thousand emotions of pain and sorrow
But regret, I did not

For whoever chooses the straight way,
Leading aright to Allah
No matter how dark,
and how many times he falls,
He'll keep on rising.

Death, blame, hate, shame
My soul may receive,
..yet still does it endure

'Cause as long as my heart
With its convictions are intact,
Then I'm okay.

I'll wait my death – my reunion with God.
